Q: Could the adjustable shelves each be adjusted so that there are only 3 shelves, each measuring 14.13333 high? I need the height for music books - at least 12.5 " high.

Q: Do the legs flare out at the bottom or go straight to the ground? I am interested in putting 2 of these side by side with no space between.. Will the legs cause them to be slightly apart?
