Directions • fully chew before swallowing • adults and children 12 years and over: • 2 chewable tablets every ½ hour or 4 chewable tablets every hour as needed for diarrhea • 2 chewable tablets every ½ hour to 1 hour as needed for overindulgence (upset stomach, heartburn, indigestion, nausea) • do not exceed 8 doses (16 chewable tablets) in 24 hours • use until diarrhea stops but not more than 2 days • children under 12 years: ask a doctor • drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrheaOther information

A: Thanks for reaching out, Sher! The reason you may notice a darkening stool is because the active ingredient in adult Pepto-Bismol contains bismuth. When a small amount of bismuth combines with trace amounts of sulfur in your saliva and gastrointestinal tract, a black-colored substance (bismuth sulfide) is formed. We can assure you the discoloration is temporary and harmless and can last several days after you stop using Pepto. We hope this helps!

My family and I went on a long roadtrip recently and I wanted to make sure to have some pepto for any on the road tummy issues we might encounter. I didn’t want to bring a bottle of pepto, so these were great to have instead. They also tasted pretty okay, too. I deff recommend having a bottle of these in your car (or purse or bag or whatever) for on the go tummy issues!

See the berries on the label? Lol, psych! This tastes like chalky wintergreen, just like the liquid. Maybe their intent is to really test your meddle, and if you don't vom from the flavor, you probably didn't need the stuff to begin with. Anywho, I believe the liquid, tablets, and caplets all work better than these. I was disappointed with the lack of system relief. For chewables, these were so hard I thought I'd chip a tooth, or pull one out. I don't think I'll be buying this type again.

expensive for the amount but worth it. ONLY type in the bismuth salicylate that is great tasting. It’s also great form has ability for hot car console and suitcases and purses. They have hard candy shell but soft inside like a skittle consistency candy. The flavor is better than the original. I buy loads when on sale. Wish there was at least a family size bottle. These don’t make you more nauseated like at least for me I almost always throw up with liquids ewwww. These are great when you drive and travel like I do often multiple states in a day and can eat on the go to settle dizziness and settle stomach even after the worst words. With liquids it just makes ur mind sick thinking it’s gonna mix with that burrito or 50th chicken nuggie lol. I drive wv,va,nc,sc,ga to fl and altitude of mountains and curves to literally flat roads plays with me so these help me like a magic pill.

I feel the mint helped with relief when it comes to stomach pain and these are probably my fav chews pepto offers. Fasting acting and didn’t cause any side effects for me over the hours from taking.

The chews are easy to chew, not hard or super chewy, they dissolve quickly while chewing and work even quicker to get the relief you need. The flavor isn’t too bad but you can still taste the “famous” Pepto flavor we all know but adding the the berry mint makes the taste a lot more palatable. They fit easily in my bag, not taking up much space.

I love the flavors and the chewy formula because it makes it easier to take as I’m not a fan of the chalky chunky texture of regular heartburn medicine.
