I thought these things were going to work. They are crap. Waste of money. Never worked once. Tried so many different times and each time was unsuccessful. I just threw them away. Stick to Pepto!

I recently got sick and ran to Target for some pepto capsules. They were out of stock so I risked it with these chewables. And they aren’t bad at all! Like yes, they’re a bit chalky, but so is everything on the market. The flavor is good and they’re effective. Plus, you can’t beat the value.
Packaging is bad

I mean it does its job, but the plastic they package the tablets in is too tough and makes it you need scissors, which isn’t very convenient when you have shaking dehydrated hands
Effective, but needs scissors

These tablets work, but the notch to tear the plastic packaging is only on about 10% of the tablets. For the rest, scissors are needed to get the tablet out, which eliminates the convenience and portability factors.

They've recently changed the inactive ingredients. These no longer taste like the old Pepto Bismol tablets, which were just chalky and kind of sweet. No, now these have a strong minty flavor. Well, my stomach does not react well to mint/spearmint/peppermint - so now these not only do NOT help with my nausea, they actually give me heartburn :( I will not be buying these again, and will go back to either the Equate from Wal-Mart, or the name brand. Target - these didn't need to "taste good", they needed to WORK!!!
Horrid change

Just as almost everyone else is saying, the new packaging and taste is horrible. I take this frequently for GI issues and didn’t mind the taste of the old formula. Target was the only brand I could tolerate but not anymore.

I didn’t know it was possible but this new packaging is even worse than it was before. Don’t even get me started on the nasty new taste. Target stop messing with your staple products!!

It is different from the old one. That will not stop me from buying it. The tablets are very hard but are quite thin and so easy to chew. The taste is not overwhelming, if you can keep in mind that it is supposed to be just like the brand name pink stuff. You do need scissors to open it, but I keep scissors in my car, so it's not a big deal.
Bring the old formula back!

This was my favorite medicine cabinet staple, but I just ate one and IMMEDIATELY noticed the formula change. Tastes like straight menthol toothpaste. The older formula tastes like life savers wintergreen mint, which was honestly delicious. So sad about this change.
Great Medicine, TERRIBLE Packaging

Tastes and works just like Pepto. Quick fast acting relief for stomach upset. HOWEVER, the packaging is terrible. The pills are shrink wrapped in a plastic sheet with no little notches for tearing. Getting them out is nearly impossible without scissors.
Fantastic substitute for pepto

They do what they’re supposed to do and so much cheaper than pepto. They don’t taste horrible but they’re not exactly yummy either.

Just like everyone else is mentioning, this new design tastes horrible. The old one was so much better and was a staple for me. I think I’ll be returning this box.

I’m so glad to see that many other comments are saying the same thing. This brand has been a staple for my GI issues. I hate the way brand name Pepto Bismol tastes but when I found the Up&Up brand I was thrilled because it was way better. Opened up a new box (the pink and yellow box) and it was like I opened a box of Pepto. The smell, taste, texture.. HORRIBLE.
Disgusting.....new formula!

The new formula is disgusting! I compare the new flavor to cherry cough drop syrup. I loved the old formula taste. I usually use these quite often but not anymore this flavor made me throw up....they are that gross!

This is an alternative to Tums and the name brand chewable. I like having these in my bathroom cabinet if needed plus my travel bag.

I’ve been buying these for years and have never had an issue. I was skeptical of the new negative reviews so I bought a new box and needless to say, the reviews were right. They changed the formula and it’s horrible! The texture feels like you’re biting into a piece of chalk. The new “minty” taste is absolutely horrid and will make you gag. Returned the entire box. DO NOT BUY.
