Perfect Craft Keepsake Box Kit

Granddaughter loved it; clear instructions, not as messy as I feared

It is a cute idea, but my 8 year old was interested in the process but wasn’t a big fan of the finished product.

My kids really enjoyed this project. It was very easy to make it comes with enough clay to make two heart containers.

We received this in exchange for a review. This was so easy and mess free! You mix the plaster in the bag it comes in and then pour it into the silicone mold. After it sets its so easy to remove from the mold. This came with 2 bags so you can make to keepsake boxes. You can re-use the molds as much as you want. Highly recommend for a fun weekend craft project!

My daughters made these together since there were 2 in the box, which was nice. It was easy enough that my 11 year old could read the instructions and they could mostly do it without my help. They loved personalizing them and they turned out really cute.

This was really fun and even easier than I expected. It's marked for 8+ but I got it for my 4 yr old to decorate. It takes two minutes to mix the casting mixture. It says to let it sit for at least an hour, I was able to pop it out at an hour and it came out perfectly. You do have to wait 24 hours before you can decorate it. The kit comes with mixture for two boxes. It also comes with paints and stickers which is fine for one box maybe but we needed more paint to do two. That's the only reason I took off one star.

I thought this was a craft kit to just paint the craft box. My daughter was even more stoked to discover she got to make the box herself. It was fun and a little messy but seeing the look on her face when she presented the finished product was worth the mess. I would definitely recommend this product if you have a crafty child.

This is a great craft project for kids! Everything was included for them to make and decorate their own keepsake, just add water. It was very nice to see that the kit included enough mixture to make two separate keepsake hearts. The decorations, paint and accessories needed to decorate were plenty and gave my niece plenty of options to personalize. The youtube video was excellent to assist in any unanswered questions. Waiting 24 hours to let the mixture set in the molds was an excellent way to teach kids to be patient. ;) The hearts came out of the molds easily and required very little sanding to make smooth (sandpaper was included too). Would recommend adult assistance with some steps, so it would be a great occasion to spend time with your kids and make it together. My niece plans on using her keepsake heart to store her bracelets.

I like the box. We haven't tried it yet but will pretty soon. I hope you can find more clay to make more boxes with.

Too many steps. My 8 year old was underwhelmed with needing to paint and then let it dry to continue on. I would say it was nice to have 2 included instead of just 1.

A fun little craft to do with your littles. My children loved creating the molds and then designing their own choice of colors and artwork. It would make a great gift with a personal touch!

This kit is so neat! The clay is really easy to mix and actually sets within an hour! Comes with cute stickers and the silicone mold is super easy to clean! You can make two heart boxes with this set!

In the end this turned out great! It was a bit messy, but my daughter and I had a fun time making it. She is 8 and enjoys crafts (and getting messy).

The instructions are easy to read and understand, quick and fun project with my daughter. HOWEVER, when trying to remove the hardened box from the mold, I broke the base of the box. It was a clean break and we will try to salvage it by gluing some cardstock to the bottom of the box, but disappointing. Decorations, pain, gems, etc are all very cute and appealing to my daughter

This is a neat craft kit, comes with a mold to make a heart shape box, and two pouches of casting material, each pouch can make one box. You mix the casting material in the bag, then pour into the molds, it sets in about an hour and can be decorated in 24 hours. Younger kids will need some help with casting, or an adult can do, otherwise there could be a mess. Comes with felt under the box as well as the inside bottom, the felt fit perfectly. Comes with paint and stick on decorations. A good kit for two kids, my kids enjoyed completing their boxes.

I gave this item to my niece for her 7 birthday and she was so excited! She loves to craft and this was a perfect fit for her. I like that she can create two hearts from this one project and use her imagination to decorate them! Great item for those crafty, imaginative children in your life!

My daughter absolutely loves this keepsake! She has so much fun putting it together and personalizing it. It's the perfect place for her little treasures! It's well-made and the perfect gift for someone special.

The Keepsake heart craft was a fun project for my daughter, 6, and I to do together. The steps are clearly laid out and it was easy enough for her to do with minimal help from me. I liked that there was a short video on youtube to guide us in making sure we did the project correctly. She really liked mixing some paint in with the plaster to color her box. The plaster is almost dry and she's excited to decorate the box tomorrow. I liked that this craft kit had the extra step of molding the box rather than just giving us a premade box to decorate. The paint colors and inluded stickers are pretty. My second daughter, 8, is glad there is a second bag of plaster so she can make a box, too!

This kit was great very easy to mix and the cast didn't take long to set. I did this project with my daughter we had alot of fun mixing and then painting and decorating after. Got two very pretty keepsake boxes. Would definitely recommend for ease of use and everything turns out the way described on box.

This turned out absolutely perfect when we pulled it out of the mold and my daughter had so much fun decorating it. It definitely requires adult help to pour the plaster in the mold and mix the plaster with water.
