The Perfect Fitness Multi-Gym is a portable gym system that can be used as a doorway pull-up bar or for sit-ups, push-ups and dips. All Perfect Fitness Multi-Gyms target arms, chest, core, and back muscles with workouts that ensure maximum muscle engagement. The Multi Gym Elite has a curved ergonomic wide grip position for maximum lat engagement. When turned over, all Multi-Gyms have padded handles for comfort and to help ensure correct form doing sit-ups, push-ups, and dips. Q: Door opening is 24 inches will it work?

A: Hello mkj, The Multi Gyms are designed to fit doorframes measuring between 29-35 inches (outside edge of doorframe trim). If your doorframe is 24 inches from outside edge to edge, it won't fit. Q: How does it attach to the door frame? Can it eventually break the door frame?

A: Hello Gregory, The Multi-Gym Elite is easy to setup and doesn't need any complicated installation. Just slip the Multi-Gym between the top and sides of the door frame. The pads will protect your door frame during use. As long as you follow the proper usage instructions and don't exceed your 300lbs weight limit, your door frame will be fine. I have used Perfect Fitness Multi-gyms for 5 years. Excellent product for old school strength training. Great company too. Needed a replacement part (due to my stupidity, not product quality - I requested a price quote for the part) and they sent it fast and free. That is super commitment to customer satisfactiton.

It sounds like some people were able to assemble this without any issues, but there's a chance that it will come with carriage bolt holes too small for the nut. This makes it impossible to assemble out of the box. It's either a fifty dollar box of garbage or an item that takes so much extra time and effort (and expense, if you don't already have the necessary tools) to assemble that it is not worth a fraction of its price. Or maybe you'll get lucky and receive a functional product.

Once assembled, it works exactly as described on the tin. However, a few of the bolt holes were either misaligned or not fully punched, so I had to spend about an hour filing them open to get the carriage bolts to fit.

A good pull up bar that is well built. Notice that this is wide enough to go beyond the door frame, not all bars will do that. Different grip widths allow different size athletes to use the same pull device, very helpful for a houseful of restless folks during COVID times.
Basically perfect... go figure.

Arrived with a tiny crack, but it's barely noticeable. This thing is super study and very comfortable. Love the extra length and extra positions my last bar didn't have!

This has been a great addition to the apartment during the quarantine. It was pretty easy to assemble although I initially made a couple of mistakes. It is stable, comfortable and plenty big. They were also fantastic with shipping and I received it within a few days. My only improvement would be to add a few more holes at the top so you can adjust more for height. I’m 6’8” and I’ve found this to leave my knees dragging on the ground. It would be great if I could adjust the testing bar a couple more inches to add space.

Has done a great job holding up. I looked at a ton of pullup bars. Although an extra security clip would probably make it feel a little more secure if you want to use it for ab exercises, it has a good grip and shipping and customer service was on point. Worth a try!

Really well built parts. Messed up the assembly initially, but easily caught the error leading to a much easier assembly. My door is a bit wider than recommended, but it still works perfectly. I'm 6'4" and 200 pounds and felt well-supported. The foam is more comfortable than anticipated. The design and coloring is nice too. After one use there were some indentations in the wall above the door frame that will easily be fixed when needed. Overall would 100% recommend.

I have extremely wide doorways (37") and I was disappointed that so many pullupbars just wouldn't fit, but this one does! it says up to 35" but I took a chance and it's just big enough, probably hits each side about 1/2", which is enough to keep it in place. good sturdy build and the handles come forward so you can really get a wide grip. went together easy too, less than 10 minutes to assemble. overall couldn't ask for more, just so glad it fits. if you have big doorways definitely recommend! Also convenient storage for the Allen keys!

I purchased this pull up bar over a year ago and been using it ever since. The fact that it has so many options for different holds put it above all other pull up bars. I've even traveled with it and it is very easy to disassemble and reassemble using the provided allen wrenches. Although, even though the part that makes contact with the door frame has rubber on it, it will still bang up your door frame trim just a little bit but it's nothing to be too concerned about. Overall an amazing purchase if your competent enough to read and follow assembly instructions properly. It is very straightforward and easy to assemble, its not rocket science(in reference to the other review).
