The patented uSelect adjustable grinding systems in these mills have 6 pre-defined settings so you can choose the coarseness of both your salt and pepper separately. To get your desired coarseness, turn the adjustment ring at the base of the mills to 1 for an extremely fine grind and up to 6 for a coarser grind. These mills are made of beechwood.
