Salt and Pepper Crank Grinder Copper Finish - Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia

Honeslty, I have not yet added salt or pepper to these. But they do look really pretty!

As I've kept an eye out of salt/pepper grinder for some time, found this item was what I wanted it. We've been using it for the coarse pink salt for 2 months. Noted that I didn't have any metal pieces came out the grinder unlike some other comments mentioned. JFYI. The metal crank grinder is located inside the unit as it's described on the instruction. Overall, we've pleased with this purchased. It's cute and meets our expectation. Now I am thinking to get the small one. 😉

These are beautiful, I had mine since November 2024. Today I was making eggs and ground some salt on top of my eggs & before mixing and saw shiny tiny metallic specks on the top of my eggs. I opened up my salt grinder and at the top of the inside of the grinder the metal was deteriorating and falling in to the salt. I am very angry knowing that I've been feeding my family with these grinders. They were cheaply made. I'm sure Joanna Gaines knows about this and wouldn't use these for her family 😡

I adore the brass copper look of this power grinder. It was easy to put together and use. It looks wonderful next to my stove!

I just want to comment on those reviews that say the handle was missing. Did you open the grinder? The ad clearly states to open the grinder and remove the handle! It is very unlikely that ALL the grinders, both in the store and ordered online are missing handles. I believe what's missing is the customers reading of the directions, and I feel it is not fair for the product to get poor reviews for customer error.

This is now the 2nd time the item pictured arrived without the crank handle. Incredibly frustrating considering I have the taller one and need this one to match. I sent in the details on the 1st one shipped without the handle and yet again it arrived without the handle.

It reminded me of online dating, it does not look like the picture. And I can't seem to be able to shine it either. Might return it.

I ordered this salt and pepper grinder in-store as a drive up, and it's missing the handle. I went in the store to find another one with the handle, and they were all missing the handle. The sales associate advised me to order it online. I place an order online, and the same problem is missing the handle. Placed a 3rd order and same problem. How are the employees not noticing it's missing the handle. I gave up. I'm not buying another one of these. Target, this was a disappointment, and you need to inspect your products before they are shipped out.

I really like these copper salt and pepper grinders. They’re a little smaller than I anticipated but they definitely look nice.

I was really excited to try the Salt shaker with a Crank, but unfortunately, it has been a major disappointment. The crank, which is supposed to make grinding the salt and pepper easier, frequently gets stuck and is difficult to turn. It’s incredibly frustrating to have to struggle with it every time I want to season my food. The aesthetic of the salt dispenser is very beautiful and is a great decor item versus practical use.

Stopped working right

I purchased 2 of these S & P mills this week snd they are by far the worst set I have ever had. I am 82 years old and I have had a few.. I was looking for a new set for my kitchen counter and these looked good, however, they did not peerform. They were so difficult to turn the handle and kept sticking with each half turn. They are being returned.

It's definitely aesthetic, which is why we purchased it. But it's an awful grinder and product. Right off the bat, the lid where you load the peppercorns is only attached by the screw and handle at the top. In the store I figured that was fine because most grinders are that way... It's not. The lid has nothing to stabilize it so when you're trying to crank the mill the lid is sliding around and binding the crank. It makes for a fiddly and annoying experience. But here's the worst part, it's dangerous. We were cooking and I added some pepper to our mashed potatoes. Then when we sat down to eat, my girlfriend found a small white thing in the potatoes. We tried to think of what it could be, like did plastic break off? No way there's nothing plastic. So we wrote it off. Then a couple bites later and she realized there were multiple of these shards. Then it hit her, could it be the pepper grinder? Yup. The ceramic grinders had broken to pieces into our food and I'm sure we ended up eating some pieces unknowingly. Please do not buy this.

Absolutely gorgeous and well made! If anyone at HH-Magnolia is reading…. These in your brass color would be amazing!

It’s fairly lightweight but does a nice grind on the peppercorns.
