Philips Premium Airfryer XXL with Fat Removal Technology, Black HD9630/98

I bought an air fryer from a big box store, it worked only once then nothing. So I decided to spend more and get what you pay for. I love this air fryer, easy to use and easier to clean. It smokes a little when making big batches but I would still recommend this to everyone.

I told my daughter I loved my Air Fryer so much that I wanted to write Philips a Thank You note! It takes up such a small amount of counter space. It cooks so quickly. I threw my toaster oven away because I didn’t need it anymore. Perhaps the nicest thing about it is that the manual encourages you to just put the parts in the dishwasher after every use. Clean up is so easy!!! Easily my favorite kitchen purchase for as long as I can remember. Keep up the good work!

The very top of the arm showed signs of meltdown a good while ago. Discolored and warped. Now the handle has completely separated. I need a new replacement handle. Alas my warranty just ran out last month.

I am sharing this review as part of the Holiday Sweepstakes. I've been actively using Philips Airfryer XXL as I can cook lots of healthy foods! With the preset interfaces, I can make the homemade fries within 20 minutes. It turns out very tasty and healthy. I use more Airfryer than the oven, actually! I love the simple and calm design that matches well with my kitchen.

I used this everyday is easy to use, easy to clean. The knob allows you to control the timing,while you do other things.

Love my Philips Airfryer. I am not a chef but love gourmet food. We use it all the time, from tater tots and toasts for breakfast, to salmon, chicken, beef, burgers, pork. Delicious, tender, crisp in the outside. My teenage kids use it all the time. They also cook pizza, fries, egg rolls and many more. Diswasher safe. I cook fries and after that 15 min for the chicken while making salad, and lunch is ready. A great product. Made my life easier.

This is my upgrade from my first generation of Airfryer. It has the convenience as my first Airfryer and with the extra volume, I can easily cook additional portion and greatly reduce the overall cooking time. I also able to place a whole chicken in the Airfryer XXL for a great meal.. .

We bought the Airfryer as we are all staying home due to Covid. We are using more than we had imagined. It’s just so convenient. You put the food, set it and come back when it’s ready!

I reside in Tucson, AZ where summer temperatures reach over 100+ ! My Philips Airfryer keeps me from heating up my kitchen and also saves me the difficult cleaning of my glass cooktop. There are 3 Philips Airfryers in our family! I gifted one daughter the same model as mine. Unfortunately the timer didn't operate in her first use. She will be contacting you today for a replacement.

My daughter in law told me a year ago to invest in an air fryer. She ranted and raved about how good the food was and I didn't believe her. I'm a gadget woman so I figured there must have been something in my kitchen that could be comparable to an air fryer! There wasn't. Then my cousin told me about her Philips air fryer and raved about hers whenever she would fix something in it. Then I started doing a little research and joined a few FB air fryer groups (Yes there is such a thing) to get an idea what was the best one to get. Philips came up over and over and over again! I played around on the website for a few days and got a really good deal! The air fryer arrived within three days and it was packed very well. The day I got it I fixed french fries in it for dinner and was impressed with how crunchy and crispy they were! I've used it 6 times in the last 4 days and here I am now totally in love with the flavor and the crispiness (is that a real word) of the food from my air fryer! Whose grand idea was this? I love how easy it is to operate. I love how quiet it is when its on. I love how easy it is to clean up! The chicken wings I fixed tonight were better than ANY CHICKEN WINGS I have ever had at any restaurant anywhere! I'm usually a two or three chicken wing kinda girl, but tonight I had 5 whole wings! Just couldn't stop eating them! They were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside! My recommendation: Order it!

Why have an app for this of it has absolutely no help? No tips, no tricks, no recipes except the 22 that are in the book it came with which are underwhelming at best. There is seriously not one thing this app can be used for except to give you this feedback.

The fryer sets off our smoke alarm, even on the low settings. This didn't happen with our previous fryer, which was not a Philips. But it does do a great job in cooking the food that we place in it. We just can't set the fryer to cook on high.

Received this as a gift so returning it isn't really an option. WOW is this thing UGLY. The worst looking device on our kitchen counter. Has a Dial for temperature and a rotary dial for timer - WAS this thing made in the 1980's before they had digital components? I always hated rotary timers because if you happen to turn it too far and want to turn it back you eventually break it. I would love to have one of these if it had all digital components and had a way of seeing inside without opening it up to see how far things were along. Have used it once. But we didn't have the accessory for cooking two things at once (really they couldn't include that in the XXL model) oh SO Cheap on Philips part. Work for the fries we made.

This product is as advertised, easy to clean, enables me to create my kind of dishes without too much effort.

I use my Air Fryer all the time and love it! I can still eat deliciois fried food without the fat. I definately recommend the Phillips Premium fryer

The air fryer cooks fast, and food is crispy. Clean-up is easy. The reason for the 4 stars, the fryer produces alot of white smoke when frying high fat foods like chicken wings. The wings were delicious, but, I had to pour off fat half way through cooking/which helped, still, alot of smoke!

Works really well! The air fryer is very sturdy, well made and has a non-stick surface which is very easy to clean. The food comes out crispy on the outside just like if you deep fried it. I’ve air-fried fish, chicken, pork loin and turkey & my kids use it for frozen chicken strips/fries & they love it! It’s easy to use, cuts regular cooking time in half. It can fit a whole chicken or a large pack of drum sticks.
