Q: Does lid fully shut when not locked? I just bought one & there is about an inch gap where it doesn't fully close. Just wondering if this is the design or do I have a defective one. Thanks!

Q: I have tried to use several brands of 13 gallon trash bags and none of them have fit around the top of the trash can . What size and kind of trash bags do you use with this trashcan.

A: I use 30 gal hefty bags. Being oversized allows to tuck it under the bars easily, and put more in when you pull it out.

I loved the sleek look of this garbage can but it has a major flaw. The lid wont stay closed which is a deal breaker. It allows smells to get out and fruit flies to get it. Will be returning this ASAP!

The trash can looks nice and the lock feature is great especially with dogs HOWEVER the metal pieces that hold the bag are horrible. The bag rips every time I take it out. Sometimes it rips the whole way around and I can’t take the bag out without dumping the trash can out into my outside container. Horrible, horrible design. There needs to be a better way for it to hold the bag. It’s too expensive to be such trouble.

Really liked the cheap alternative to the main name brand for flat top trash cans because my dog can’t get into it. The first one broke after 9 months (the pedal broke off and couldn’t be put back on) and now the replacement broke after just 3 months from the same issue! I’m returning this one and searching for a different brand.

I am happy with this purchase. It's not cheaply made and has a classy look with the silver and black toned display. It's also sturdy and looks great in my kitchen. The bag is also securely held down inside without having to fold the bag over the container. I highly recommend!

Our dog wouldn’t stop getting into our trash can! I bought this one with little hope it would fix the problem….. IT DID! She is unable to get into it with the metal ring around the top. If you have pets GET THIS TRASH CAN!!!! it is amazing. I wish I would have found this trash can years ago!

I’ve had this trash can for 2 years and it’s still great. I love the soft close and I love that you can keep the lid locked open if you need to. I also like that the sides of the bag are covered up on top. Looks very nice
