Instead of a family game night that week we put together this amazing VW Camping Bus and it was so much fun. It helped my kids "work together" while still have such a good time. It is even cuter in person once it is all put together - we loved it so much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old twins loved this . There are 74 pieces in this set . It comes with 2 figures to play with . This is challenging enough for them to put together with a little bit of help from me but not frustrating for them . It helps with cognitive skills . The pieces are brightly colored and fit snugly together . It actually rolls around after being put together. They took this apart and put it back together several times ! It’s a lot of fun .

There is a mini kitchen, fold down seating that converts into a sleeping area!! the side doors open up into your storage area! This van is perfect for your imaginative road trip dream! I highly recommend.

I was excited to get this because being one of 12 children growing up in the 60’s and 70’s, there weren’t many vehicles to fit us all into lol. As we grew into driving age, this is the vehicle we learned on. Thanks for making this… it’s very well made and is a perfect addition to my memory shelves.

The details of everything from the inside of the camper van down to the style of the people make it wonderfully kitschy. It's a great gift for adults who love 70s nostalgia or VWs but it's also really fun for kids to play with. My kids (ages 4-9) love moving the people around and folding the seats up and down to make a bed. I love that you can lift off the roof and open and close the doors to easily access everything inside.

Even though I am older I wanted to get this as a toy I can put on the shelf and give it to my niece and nephew when they come over. The assembly was a little difficult cause some of the pieces really took a lot of muscle to snap into place. The overall construction was sturdy though. I know that nothing will be coming out of place once the pieces are correctly assembled. The directions are easy to read for a child but children may need help assembling because it’s difficult to snap in. I love the fact it comes with two figurines and some accessories.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this to my 4 year old son for his birthday and he and is older brother have rather enjoyed it. They tend to replace the Playmobil figures with star wars or bluey characters but they enjoy the Bus nonetheless. It has a lot of fun, classic detail. I don't have a lot of Playmobil toys so I'm not as familiar with how they do things so the rest of my review is a result of inexperience. The box had an age range of 5-99, which seems lazy because there is no way either of my kids was putting this together. At least, not with the instructions provided. Perhaps because I am used to Lego, I assumed the age range referred to assembly as well. Regardless, I had no problem putting it together for my son and he enjoyed playing with it. The other aspect of assembly that was slightly off putting were the decals. As soon as the sticker would get within an inch of the piece, the static would draw the sticker in making it super difficult to line up properly. At least you can peel it back off and reapply without damage to the decal. This is just a minor issue. Overall, it is a fun toy for the kids to play with and cool for retro minded adults.

The quality and finish of this toy is really very high, even thin molded parts are rigid and strong. If I hadn't have given it to my daughter already I would have happily had it on display. It requires some building, but in this case, it was really nice to do together and added to the fun. I think it really is very good value, and if you love VW campers as I do, and even if you don't, I'd definitely recommend this toy.

There weren’t as many pieces to assemble as I anticipated, and initial assembly was done just fine by our 8 year old with an exception. The wheel assembly was difficult to do for our son, but went together fairly well with adult help. It’s stylish and fun, lots of fun accessories. Lived up to the quality that you expect from Playmobile.

It didn't take him very long to put it together maybe 40-45 minutes. He has a collection of Legos that he already put together. The van added a different tone to collection.

My son and I always put time aside every week to do a project together and so far this one was our favorite. The instructions were easy to understand it and comes with great quality parts. You can tell that a lot of work went into creating this. We loved it so much that we look forward to building another one together. I highly recommend this for a family project or a gift.
