If you do not have a 4K+ TV or monitor, you're just wasting your money as you will not benefit from the "better" graphics. Also, it uses AI graphic renders so its trash. Better to wait for the PS6 and dont waste your money on this garbage PS5 "Pro".

  • A: The PS5 Pro will have 2 USB Type-C ports in the front and 2 USB Type-A ports in the back. For what it’s worth, the price fits especially with, among other factors, no real console competition from Microsoft or Nintendo. The Pro, like any other pro versions of other electronic devices, is for the hardcore and dedicated. If that’s not you, then there’s nothing wrong with just getting a regular PS5 new or refurbished at a much cheaper price.

    After just two weeks of using this new console it's already having hdmi problems where are my screen is always black and the PS5 HDMI port always comes loose, why is a new Console doing this, especially a ps5 pro I had an older PS5 slim. It never gave me an issue until after two years of me using it I just think it's worrying for a ps5 pro to be having such an issue this early on

    I got a system with a cooling defect.

    After owning for 2 weeks, I finally played Cyberpunk. 30 minutes into gaming, my system began freezing and thermal throttling. I had it horizontal and open airflow with no restrictions. I got a dud. Will be exchanging for another one that hopefully works this time.

    Bad packaging!

    Packaging and shipping was bad, the box was too big and the ps5 pro console was loose inside. The outer box was also open. Luckily the ps5 pro box was unoppened and undamadged.

    I recevied another person's order or return?!

    After reading all the other reviews of people having issues with the shipment or PS5 Pro box/equipment, I thought…no way this is real. There’s THAT many issues? And well, today, it was my turn. The shipping box is of the lowest quality cardboard and it’s huge compared to the item inside (with no other padding) and so it arrived partially torn open and damaged. Then, inside, the PS5 Pro box was already unsealed AND I see a label on it with a completely different name and order number. So, chances are…this was a prior pickup order/return and Target decided it was appropriate to mail my VERY expensive purchases to me in this condition. I’m checking the system now, but it’s already froze once and had to restart. Hopefully there’s no other issues.

    Best Experience Overall

    What a fortunate find to see this still priced at $750 a couple days after April 2. What made it even better was that the unit was brand new and unopened unlike a bunch of reviews state here. The system is a great upgrade from the PS5 Slim that I returned even on a standard LCD TV. Upgraded to a LG OLED and I’m blown away by the quality playing Spider Man 2, GTA and Tokyo Xtreme Racer! The added storage space going from 1TB to 2 I no longer have space anxiety. Get yourself a PS5 Pro and be ready for GTA 6.

    Great console, buy in person!

    I see people complaining about “open box”… that little “tech seal” is the easiest thing to break during shipping. Even playstation themselves a couple of years ago had only that seal and it would break all the time in shipping. Maybe put a little effor in and buy in person? My seal was fine in-store.

    Damaged/open box

    I love this console but don’t like the fact that I bought it brand new for pickup and they literally handed me an open box. And the bottom of the box was barely holding what was inside since it looked torn. I noticed once I got home but didn’t return it since I was waiting to get this console for a very long time.

    Package itself was unopened and undamaged, however upon opening the box, I noted the PS5 Pro box itself had the anti-tamper seal already torn and the box was open. I am not sure if Target is performing QA on the item or what, but I was not happy that I paid for a new item that was previously opened.
