It would make a great Christmas gift for any family member or friend. My only complaint is that the pieces are very small and could easily get lost or a small child could choke. I love these because it comes in a convenient tube that can travel very small and lightly. It is a great thing to keep it all together and compact. It’s easy to open and close for him as well. We built the characters with the instructions. Then, we played different sports games. The instructions were easy to follow. You could easily switch up the colors for your favorite team. I thought he would like the sports theme, which he did. But, he was more interested in free-building at first! The set comes with instructions on how to make different sports figures. I recommend to keep these away from kids three and under kids they can easily choke on these small pieces. These blocks are the color of white green, orange light, brown, dark, brown, black, blue, yellow and peach. But overall, I definitely definitely recommend these blocks for kids . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tube of connecting puzzle pieces to add to our collection of games and activities for our summer vacation. The package says it's for ages 3 and up, but I would say these are meant for even kids a bit older because the pieces are kind of hard to put together. They don't snap in place easily like Legos do. Some pieces fit nicely, but some do not. These are not easy to play and build with. My child had a difficult time following the directions given to build the sports characters and I did too. About the only thing we could do was snap the pieces in place. We couldn't even build anything. Sadly, this was a waste of money since we couldn't really build anything, only snap the pieces in place. I received an incentive to write this review.
