​Polly Pocket Collector Playset, Harry Potter Compact with 5 Dolls and 11 Accessories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely adorable!!! As a 90s kid and Harry Potter fan this is a major win! Very nostalgic for me. The first exterior has hogwarts castle with glitter pieces that move! I can’t get over the attention to detail. Every piece this has in it. If you're a Harry Potter fan and had Polly pockets growing up this is a must!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can almost hear the Harry Potter soundtrack as you open the packaging to this Harry Potter Polly Pocket. Hogwarts awaits you in a snow globe like front filled with gold stars and the wand on top is your handle and transport to a tiny world of Harry Potter. My 6 year old and I played with this for a very long time, getting to know all the details. While he doesn't yet know the books, I had so much fun explaining each part. Platform 9 3/4 can be accessed through a secret wall in the outside of the box and the train station holds a train that Harry, Hermione or Ron can sit in. There is a secret compartment under the Hogwarts great hall which is the lake scene! The boat can hold your characters too as they make their way to the great school. Dumbledore greets you in the Great Hall along with Professor McGonagall. The candles can move up and down by pushing the wand and the sorting hat can be placed on the head of each character. It is so fun to see the sorting hat choose the House by pushing on the chair. I couldn't imagine that so much fun and detail could be contained in such a small toy. We will definitely be bringing this with us on trips and keep this for many many years to come! I'm so impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 90's heart is so happy to watch my daughter play with the Harry Potter Polly Pocket. The details are incredible! There are 3 different scenes to play within one set. This includes the 9 3/4 train platform, the dining hall to the outside of Hogwarts hidden under the dining hall. My daughter loves playing with the sorting hat chair sorting everyone into different houses. My favorite detail is the outside of the actual case. Hogwarts is beautifully done inside a snowglobe like case. Perfect for displaying when not used for playing. Other cool features include moving the floating candles up and down with the magic wand handle. You can also have Harry and Ron run through the wall in the train station and the wall springs back up! This is a really cool collectors toy.

As a UK-born girl of the 1990s, having Polly Pocket AND Harry Potter together in one toy was the very definition of "perfect"! The detail included is beautiful. Would you look at those floating candles?! I also love the detail on the back; it's like a sequin shaker. My son (a huge train fan) immediately grabbed the Hogwarts Express! The pieces are small, so something to consider if you have little ones or somebody who likes to put toys near their mouth. The box it came in is lovely too, so this would make a great Harry Potter-themed item to display if you were more of a collector.

One thing that I don’t like is that the water area underneath the flip up floor if you don’t put items down the right way it prevents the floor from coming back down correctly. Another thing is the top lid is so heavy it doesn’t sit by itself and you have to prop it up against something to play with it. The packaging was beautiful though.

Blast from the past. Bought for my 37 year old daughter and she was just like a little girl while opening!

This is a very cute set, I love the glitter stars in the outside “window” part. It’s sentimental for me because I played with Polly pockets as a kid and now my kids are enjoying this one. There are lots of story options to play and the kids are having a blast with it.

The sorting hat and owl are just too cute! And the lowering lights! The attention to detail on this one is amazing! The figures look so good and I love that they are the original Polly Pocket size! This is great for kid or adult!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Harry Potter Polly Pocket is so cute. It is a huge hit with my four year old daughter who plays with it often! She loves how everything fits inside and can carry it anywhere with the handle. The only thing that was disappointing was that when it is open, the top part is too heavy and causes it to fall back so we had to prop something underneath so she could play with it!

Extremely poor quality. None of the figurines can fit into the chair, all the glitter stars on the front are stuck inside the castle archways, and nothing fits together quite correctly.

She loves to pretend that each character is coming to Hogwarts and getting sorted into their house. I will say the characters are very hard to get into the sorting chair and the hat doesn’t like to stay on, but overall it is a really charming set. The packaging is beautiful as well!

The details bring me right back to the first time we watched the movie together. My daughter loves putting the sorting hat on each of the characters once they arrive at Hogwarts and then sitting them down to enjoy the feast. The pieces included with the set are perfect and are well crafted - even the wheels on the train move! I love that everything fits neatly inside and that the wand acts as a handle. This is the perfect toy to bring on trips!

This is a comprehensive set, with the ability to recreate so many scenes from the first book. The only issue for playability is that the top is heavy and has a tendency to tip over during play.

As Harry Potter fans, they did not spare the details. Everything from 9 ³/4 door to the seat that "sorts" each person, a lot of thought was put into this one piece. My daughter is able to build a story and when not in use it has found a spot on her dresser as the outside is a scene of Hogwarts.

Included are 5 mini dolls that are very detailed with their outfits and hair colors and styles. My daughter loved the sorting hat in the dining hall. You can see which house the sorting hat will place you! My daughter really loved that she could push thru the wall. The details are really amazing right down to the floating candles. The outside of the case is just as amazing with a snow globe like effect and showcasiing hogwarts. The handle being a broom is just a nice added touch to really bring the Harry Potter magic to the set as well. Some of the wonderful added pieces are the boat and the train. The kids can act out a few scenes with the included pieces. When you first open the set you would first wonder why there is a boat, but keep looking as there is a hidden water area (black lake) for the boat to go in! That’s one of the best things is all the hidden things to spot! Over all it’s an amazing set for any Harry Potter or Polly pocket fan.

The detail is amazing (the tiny characters, the dining hall, the sorting hat) etc. the pictures really do not do it justice. The front of the set has a snow globe effect (with glitter and stars) that is beautiful! I love that we can take it with us anywhere. This set is going to provide hours of play!!
