Description
This is a perfect package of a high power microscope with a 25pc prepared slide collection for students to learn science. It comes with full optical glass elements, metal framework, 360 degree rotatable monocular head, coarse & fine focusing, and LED illumination. It offers five magnification settings, 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X and 1000X. The LED illumination system uses either an outlet (adapter included) or three AA batteries (or re-chargeable batteries). The 25-piece slide set includes assorted specimens of plants, insects and animal tissues. This is an ideal microscopy package for home school or for students from elementary to high school. It is also an excellent instrument for hobbyists.

Q: Does the image appear lit up, does it have a light inside the microscope to better see slide. Are blank slides also included in order to make one's own slides?

A: Yes it’s lit up and it comes with slides that have samples on them already. I bought blank slides to go with it.

A: The prepared slides have a carrying case but the microscope only has a special bag to drape over it when not in use.
