Ideal for woodworking, furniture, and cabinet making, our 12 in. Dovetail Jig Combination Kit enables cutting a wide variety of joinery for drawers, boxes, and furniture. This package includes a 4211 template for half-blind, rabbeted half-blind, and sliding dovetails, a 4213 template for through dovetails and box joints, and a 4215 template for miniature through, miniature half-blind dovetails, and miniature box joints. Durable, single-piece steel base design requires no assembly. Accommodates stock from 1/4 to 1-1/8 in. thick, this jig's heavy-duty cam-type clamps with sandpaper-backed locking bars provide a firm grip of wood. I have not had an opportunity to use my new poster cable dovetail jig. However, it arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Looking forward to using it.

Great jig, but the manual leaves a bit to be desired. Make sure you set up with scrap practice material prior to your final cuts ' youll be fine

Once you figure out how to use this, it works great. Try YouTube for some videos - that helped tremendously.

I build and install cabinets. I used to buy drawer boxes. This is way better. I bought this in November, and so far I have made 21 drawer boxes. I have only used the blind dovetail template as of yet, but I am looking forward to using the other templates. I have a special project coming up that I believe the "mini" template will come in handy.
