I bought this for a family member that is taking a diuretic. The taste is fine mixed with juice, tea etc.. This is a great alternative for anyone that doesn't want to swallow a bunch of potassium tablets. I started taking it myself and like the powder form of supplements whenever possible. All you get is the supplement and no other fillers.

I use NOW empty caps and fill them to use on my kitty. The Rx stuff has all kinds of fillers and tastes horrible (the way my kitty reacts). This way I can dose it the way I need, don't get the stuff I don't need, and can use it for the kitty and myself since I measure it myself. Always liked the NOW brand.

i know that i needed to take some potassium but could only find 99mg. this is 500mg but it taste like chewing medicine. it has that bad taste to it. so i boiled water and saw it dissolved. so when i use it i make a warm drink so you cant taste it.

It is very hard to find potassium supplements in a strength greater than 100 mg. so I am very grateful for this powdered (and basically tasteless) form!

This is a great supplement to take because you get more % than in capsules and you can mix it in anything. I take mine in my daily oatmeal. It does have a very subtle salty taste which disappears when you blend it with something. I also take it in some juice when I just need a boost. I'm glad I got it.
