    Great for a Few Months...

I measured my leg and ordered the size that matched. When I first tried it on, it was just-right snug. When I went for a ride or worked out at the gym, it stayed in place. Most importantly, it really seemed to alleviate knee pain that I had experienced for many years! I probably wore it 4-5 times each week, and I washed it about every other month. Here's the BAD news: After about 4 months it's so stretched out that it really doesn't alleviate the knee pain at all, AND it slips out of position most of the time. Initially I would have awared 4-5 stars, but now it's down to 1 star, so I'm calling it 2 stars.

    Much Better Compression

Made for a much better compression to my knee and much tighter snugness (as other reviewers have stated) around my thigh but bearable. Putting through it's paces and I'm very impressed how it stayed in place and the comfortable compression support it gave me.

Try these Powerlix Compression Sleeves! You'll love them!I have Osteo-Arthritis in both knees and up until now I have been unable to find knee stabilizers or braces that ease the pain and give me some relief. Powerlix Compression Sleeves are different; they extend further on my legs than regular sleeves, from about mid thigh to about mid calf, which stabilizes both of my legs at the knee joints better than any other product I have ever used (and I have used every major brand on the market today). The quality elastic material supports my knees completely without causing pain or discomfort or sweating under the elastic. I plan to use these Powerlix Compression Sleeves after my knee surgery to help protect my "new" knees and keep them stable and injury-free.Thanks for a Great Product, Powerlix!

It worked pretty well, but is a bit of a hassle ...

I am a senior softball player with chronic arthritis in my right knee. In years past I've tried other sleeve braces without success. Two years ago I resorted to applying kinesiology athletic tape before every game. It worked pretty well, but is a bit of a hassle to apply and is kind of expensive. So I thought I'd take another shot at sleeve braces. I came across the PowerLix write up on Target and decided to give it a try. I wore it last Sunday, and to my surprise I was able to run full out and pivot without my knee moving out of place. After the game there was no swelling or soreness. I'm anxious to use it again and hope the result will be the same.

    THEY STAY UP ALL DAY!!

I am a Combat Veteran of 6 years Active Duty and another 8 years in the National Guard and if it's one thing I've learned from all my time in uniform it's that military life is extremely hard on the body. That's being said, both of my knees are pretty well shot. I have a torn meniscus in my right knee and cartilage deterioration in the left. I have issued heavy duty braces for exercise but needed something that was lightweight but supportive and most importantly, STAYED UP, because everyone knows how annoying saggy selves are. I did lots of research and read what seems like hundreds of reviews and finally decided on the PowerLix sleeves and so far, I've not been disappointed.PowerLix boasts that their sleeves stay put all day. I can tell you from experience that everyday that I've worn them during the past week and a half, not only have my knees felt better at the end of the day, but the sleeves have, indeed, stay up ALL DAY!! It's my opinion that these knee sleeves are well worth the money you pay and that you really can't go wrong.

    Reduced knee soreness after exercise

I purchased this because I was experiencing sore knees after running, hiking, and soccer. It worked very well to stabilize/compress my knee during activity. I have used a light-weight, spandex compression sleeve with some success, but this is thicker and provides better patella support and compression. I tried just one to start and was worried at first because it made activity a little uncomfortable at times--I think purely because the knee is compressed a little. But since I started wearing it, I have experienced no knee pain or stiffness after activity. I wore it on a 10 mile hike and experience no knee soreness the following day--something very rare for me. I plan to buy another one for my other knee.

I strained something in my knee and it's been a long recovery. I've gone to the doctor, I've done PT, and while I can almost get to 100%, keeping my knee in a bent position all day (office work), always makes the pain flare up. It was extremely frustrating as I've always liked working out, especially cycling and running.I've tried all the brands, all the fits, all the fairy dust promises and nothing has worked like this one.

This is the first brace/sleeve I've purchased. I think it does the job. It does pinch a little at the back of my knee, but provides good stability. I've been using it during Zumba lately, and I think this is where I've seen the most benefit. I've washed it and dried it a couple times, and it's held up well. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

I needed this brace because I had medial knee pain. Probably from overuse, over stretching/straining, and falling off the climbing wall weird.I've been wearing this knee brace while bouldering (indoor rock climbing) for about 1.5 months now. Climbing 3-5 days/week. It's tight and very supportive and works great for me. I can slip it over or under my leggings. Usually over. No problems with it slipping down, although I did notice the gummy sticky things on the inside of the brace are starting to fall off. But I think the actual elastic and compression factor is tight enough.

I am a 5'8" 155lb woman with muscular thighs and bony joints. According to the size chart, my 17" thigh mandates a size L brace. Unfortunately the top of the thigh is the only place that I felt compression. Although the sleeve seemed very comfortable and well made, and not rough at all, I felt 0 support around my knee where I actually needed it. I will have to size down to the Medium to get the support. However I already found another brace that comes in pairs, so I ordered that. If they don't work, I will come back and try this in the smaller size.

this was a life saver after a small knee injury. Product fits snug and I have ran at most 11 consecutive miles without having to adjust it. I sweat ALOT so this really impressed me at how well it stayed over my knee. I have put this in washing machine but air dry instead of using the dryer. My fist run after injury I did not think i would get more than 3 miles comfortably, but was able to get 6 with ease and no pain. I highly recommend this to any runners with weak knees or concern regarding the knees.

Use the sizing chart. Measure your thigh, order the size recommended, and enjoy the product. Mine fit very snug, but, not too snug so as to restrict any blood flow. I was quite pleased with the comfort and support. I wore it around the house for an hour before using it on my long hikes. I've had two knee surgeries, but I don't let that stop me from hiking 3-5 hours at a time, whether Flat Iron, Vulture, or Quartz peak. Will definitely recommend to my hiking friends.

I am a father of four in my 40's and I do a lot of walking and jogging to stay healthy. I have chronic arthritis in my left knee and I literally could not jog for weeks at a time. I looked at a large amount of compression sleeves and found that overall this one seemed to catch my attention. It was a great decision! I love this sleeve. It keeps my knee compressed very well. It has made a huge impact in my performance as well as my time. I can actually go jogging without being down for days. It's been very amazing. The quality is top notch! Never slides or moves. The fit is perfect. I measured to fit an XL however I went with a L and Im so glad I did.

Great knee brace. I suffer from patellar dislocation and instability from a recurring hockey injury. I've since stopped playing hockey, but hiking and running can often lead to a tweak or total collapse. This happened roughly 3 weeks ago. I have small ACE bandages and higher end Don Joy braces - the ACE does not stay in place and I'm constantly readjusting, while the Don Joy is sometimes too large and bulky to wear for normal walking. This one however is perfect for me!

I completely tore the tendons on both sides of my left knee. Prior to this injury I had a standing 46 leap which is useful playing basketball! I played basketball in high school. Skipped playing in college because I worked full time to finish in four years. I played semi-pro basketball in LA six years before I injured my left knee. This knee brace 100% supports my knee. My basketball days are over at age 74, but I still can walk 3 to 4 miles a day without pain with this brace. It is amazing!

One word description "AWESOME" . Previously used Copper Fit and Tommie Copper knee braces, wanted to try something different and I have to say I'm not disappointed. There is a world of different between spandex compression and these. My knee doesn't feel sore after a ride. I use it mainly for cycling ( about 100 miles on trainer since purchase). I will highly recommend this. Only one issue which does not take away from product is the absence of larger size. Asked a friend to try them out but they were too tight. Thigh size 23 and half inches . I have 21in thigh and Large is perfect.

I play basketball three times a week for about 2 hours each time. Recently I have been experiencing knee pain in both knees. I've always worn Petella knee strap but they're not providing me enough support for other knee pains. I've worn these PowerLix knee braces for three weeks now. I've went from constant pain in my knees to almost none now. It could be just me easing up on the knees or it could be that these braces are really helping me. The support on these knee braces are great and they're made with very quality materials. The only thing I don't like about it is the gel on the top that is supposed to help hold up the knee brace. It sticks to the hairs and is somewhat uncomfortable. However, it's all in your preference. Some people really likes that feature.

I have been prepping for a marathon for two months and my left knee started to hurt badly, so I was looking for a solution for that. The most important thing for me was that it will protect and support my knee throughout the entire long run, meaning I needed something that is tight enough and flexible and also made high quality. After researching on Target, I found this product that gave me exactly the feeling that I was looking for.I have already had 2 long and 2 short runs with it and the knee pain I was feeling reduced from 100% to 5%. I believe it will reduce more when my knee recovers. I was completely sold with this product when i read that they are offering 6 months money back guarantee which means that they really believe in their product, so I did too and I am happy with my decision. I will probably buy another one for the second knee just in case. Such a great product that I don't know why I didn't get it before.

Was looking for a knee brace with decent support for an old knee injury. I do not like the ones that have the velcro straps and prefer the sleeve style for optimum compression. This one allows good movement and has decent support. The only reason I did not give it a five star review is because I would like it to be a bit stiffer which I feel gives even more support. Unfortunately this is just what I am used to, but all in all does a decent job.
