When first opening the tube, puncture foil seasl with top end of cap. Apply externally or in the lower portion of the anal canal only. Apply externally to the affected area up to 4 times daily, especially at night, in the morning or after each bowel movement. For application in the lower anal canal: Remove cover from dispensing cap. Attach dispensig cap to tube. Lubricate dispensing cap well, then gently insert dispensing cap partway into the anus. Thoroughly cleanse dispensing cap after each use and replace cover.Adults
When practical, cleanse the affected area by patting or blotting with an appropriate cleansing wipe. Gently dry by patting or blotting with a tissue or a soft cloth before applying cream.Children Under 12 Years of Age

(Note: I only had a mild case, so YMMV) I used this cream only twice externally, and it healed my hemorrhoid within a couple days. Easy to apply, no burning, no oiliness. Within 2 hours of applying the first time, the hemorrhoid already shrank! Definitely recommend.

Unfortunately I have suffered from hemorrhoids for many years and I have tried many products to find any type of relief. There is nothing better than Preparation H for all of my hemorrhoids issues. It’s very soothing and it helps with the itching and burning almost immediately. I rely on it to get me through these rough times and it has never disappointed me.

Over the years, there have been occasions where this has completely saved the day and has provided very quick relief. We’ve found it to be useful in several applications, from normal cases where it provides relief, to backpacking/camping for a week when you can’t shower as frequently and start having some discomfort. The package comes with a tube and a separate applicator for extra convenience. In my opinion, this is definitely an essential product to have in your home’s medicine cabinet.
