Prequel Gleanser + SA Non-Drying Salicylic Acid Cleanser - 13.5 fl oz

I absolutely love this face cleanser. I loved it so much that I bought 3 additional Prequel products. I love that target carries this brand! My skin never feels dry or tight and you only have to use a tiny bit. Totally worth the price.

I personally liked the texture. It felt like rubbing silk on your face. I found it hydrating but it didn't cleanse my face and also clogged my pores. I started breaking out and had to stop using it.

I am a guy with sensitive, acne prone skin. I purchased this as a body wash, and have been pleasantly surprised by the results. My skin is oily in the summer, and the older I get can become quite dry in the winter. I live in NYC and the dry heat that is every apartment building here dries my skin out dramatically. It's difficult to find a body wash that is not drying but also not occlusive or comedogenic. This wash leaves my skin feeling hydrated but not overly so; it lathers and cleans well, and is pleasant to use. Knock on wood, it does not break me out, either (but I have been using for less than a month). I am impressed.

This is a fantastic, gentle moisturizer that still manages to remove all my makeup. This cleanser is non stripping but still leaves skin feeling thoroughly clean. This is my new go-to.

I've been using this for the last four months. I've had back acne since my early twenties (now in my mid thirties). Using this plus Prequels glycolic acid has completely changed my back acne. (FYI when I do apply glycolic acid I use the gleanser without SA instead, I do not use both products on top of each other) Breakouts are less frequent, less painful, and the cysts don't last as long. Mind you I haven't ever invested in the most expensive products in the past. Anything topical from the dermatologist never worked. Certain oral medications did work but I could never take them for an extended period of time. Is my acne completely gone? No, but I think for the price, size and the results it's totally worth a try. I will continue to use the duo moving forward.

I bought this as a new replacement for my after gym bodywash (Lume/ Naturium energizer) and I have to say its been amazing to add to my roster and the hydration adds a punch too.

I've been using this face wash for about two months now and it hasn't worked at all for me. The texture is off. I know it's stated that this is an exfoliating face wash, but it's almost like it's too slimy to turn into an exfoliate. It never makes my face feel like it's actually getting clean, and it really isn't...after I wash my face, it's like the product doesn't fully come off. I've been breaking out so bad since I started using this product.

So the product is excellent. I have another SA product that clears my acne but is so drying on the face and this clears my acne and keeps it clear from any bumps and keeps it soft and moisturized! It’s a big win. My only conplaint is the packaging: a full pump wastes so much product so you have to be very careful and press it down gently so only some product comes out.

It’s good, but the other Gleanser they have it’s a bit better, this one leaves my skin a little dry. The other one gave a glow hydration that was better for my skin

I have sensitive acne prone skin. I use this cleanser at night as my second cleanse. My skin feels very soft and not stripped at all. Plus it's a nice big bottle for the price. Definitely will be repurchasing this along with trying out the original Gleanser.

I have learned that my face does not like salicylic acid. I love the gleanser. It is my daily face and body shower cleanser, so when I saw the gleanser + SA advertised, I immediately bought it because I've been dealing with the dreaded 30 something acne. It was a pretty immediate nope for me. I immediately broke out on my face once I switched. I didn't return it since I was able to use it on my body with no problem, but I do won't purchase it again.

This product is perfect for my oily, mature skin. It makes my skin feel clean and nourished without striping or adding oil.

I was already a fan of the original Gleanser, and was a little nervous about trying this with my dry, sensitive skin, but I'm so glad I gave this product a chance! It's extremely gentle but I noticed an immediate difference in the texture of my skin. I've also had KP on my arms for years and have tried so many different exfoliating products (some specifically to treat KP) and never had any improvement until I started using this cleanser for my body as well! Even my partner commented on how smooth my skin feels now! It's such a good price for a really good amount of product, too. Will never use another cleanser, and I'm gradually replacing all my skincare products with Prequel!

I bought this a couple weeks and couldn’t be happier! I will never buy another cleanser again. I use on my face after oil cleansing and my body and it leaves my skin so soft & hydrated. Love that I can use for both!
