I bought this about a month ago and I am very pleased! I used it to keep soup warm during a potluck and it stayed warmer a lot longer than the soups in the standard slow cookers. I also used it to cook a pot roast and it was true to time.

Used this for the first time tonight and works as advertised. I feel like they missed a couple of easy layouts for improvments: 1. It doesn't come with a lid for storing in the fridge after use. This makes no sense and I will have to use foil to cover every time to store unused portion. 2. The lid should lock in one of the down positions, but does not. Would have been easy to add a lock on the back side when flipped down. Love everything else about it and would have went with 5 stats with above features included.

I like this crockpot. The only downside is the internal pan has very sharp edges and has cut my finger while washing it.

I don't know why this little gem of a slow cooker isn't advertised more. I use several crock pots when hosting pot lucks at home or attending family BBQ's and this crock is by far my favorite. Traveling with those other crock pots always presented spill issues...of which there were many. The Presto Nomad solved that problem...no more having to clean my car up! Not only that but the 8 quart pot is plenty big enough for the large crowds I feed. It features high, low and warm settings and its unique look draws a lot of attention. The crock lid, when in use, is attached to the base, just flip it up which alleviates a drippy lid and having to find a place to set the drippy lid while you get your food. Clean up is a breeze as both the pot and lid are removable which I hand wash with a little Dawn dish soap. (Not sure if it's dishwasher safe or not as hand washing is just my preference on cookware.) My current unit is a few years old, I use it often and it works and looks as good as the day I took it out of its box the first time. Highly recommend this traveling Nomad crock pot whether you're cooking at home or taking it on the road!

I got this for Christmas and LOVE it. It is easy to clean and cooks great we travel a lot for kids and livestock events! I have yet to have anything really stick to the pan! The only thing I would like to see is a lid to be able to store it in the refrigerator a bit easier! I’ll be buying for gifts in the feature!

Absolutely the best slow cooker I've ever owned! I love the condensation cup and the way the window clears without dropping all the moisture into the food, great feature. I also love being able to take hot food anywhere. As far as cooking, it maintains the perfect temperature without burning around the edges, and everything is perfectly cooked. The metal enameled cooking pot is perfect. Overall, a genius product and one I would highly recommend!

Love the cooker and use it all the time. Great for taking food to a potluck and handy and easy to clean even use it at home often. Would have gotten a 5 star except for two improvements that would be easy for Presto to do. 1. Leftover or things made day before would be nice to have a simple plastic snap on lid for the pot so it can be stored in the fridge. 2. The marker can only store upright so it quickly drains the ink down and won't write so include a pen that can store upside down so the ink stays at the tip. (eraser could go at the other end). Presto if you use my ideas please send me a lid and pen!

I've had this for several years and love it. My husband likes to volunteer to take dishes to work for the dept and this works great. I have a question about it though, can the liner go in the oven?

The lid locks perfectly into place by lifting the handle upright, which makes it simple to carry one handed if need be. I loved the slot for a large utensil along with a place for the dry erase marker. Cleanup is quick and the interior metal tray is lightweight and easy to remove. I really liked the square shape because it makes it much easier to store than a round crockpot. I used this in a travel capacity to keep already prepared food hot. I am a bit skeptical to actually cook food in it, as it does not have a timer setting for preparation- only off, warm, low and high settings. You would have to set a separate timer either on your phone or in the house to know when dishes are actually done cooking. All in all, I think it’s great for traveling with and definitely does a great job of preventing any spills or accidents. The lack of a timer bumped it down to 4 stars for me.

I used this the other day to take with me to cook dinner at work 😂❤️ its big enough to cook for all of us and you can cook anything in it because them temps are adjustable. Its has a spoon holder on top a dry erase marker to write whats cooking. Clean up is a breeze literally the pan part pops out and its dishwasher safe
