I tried so hard that I broke the tube into the water and even if I could figure out how to get the pump on correctly - I would only be able to use it for a little bit before the remaining tube attached to the pump would run dry. I’m going to pin this on me as user error, but still - the instructions were not clear enough obviously.

We live in Florida where we constantly have hurricanes and having this pump with the 5 gallon jug is really convenient for when the power goes out or we have to evacuate. It was simple to assemble, It does take several pumps to fill most cups, but I assume it’s aiming to fill a disposable water cooler sized cup.
