Proactiv's Skin Purifying Mask is a sulfur (6%) acne face mask that heals breakouts, clears pores, reduces oil, and prevents new pimples from forming. It’s made with kaolin clay, a natural mineral that acts like a magnet and draws pore-clogging impurities out of the skin.
A creamy, soothing formula, Skin Purifying Mask treats acne while reducing redness and helping with irritation. It also works hard to deep clean skin, which helps shrink the appearance of pores. Use it as a 10-minute mask or an overnight acne spot treatment.
This acne-fighting facial mask also features vitamin E to soothe and protect, vitamin F complex to help skin retain moisture, and tea tree oil for its antiseptic and cleansing properties.
How To Use:
As a mask: Apply to dampened skin, leave on for 10 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Can be used up to two to three times a week. If going outside, use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application use.
As a spot treatment: Dab onto affected area and leave on for several hours, or overnight. Rinse off with warm water. Can be used up to three times a week.

I have suffered from acne pop ups on my chin my entire life and it only got worse with mask mandates. I always used Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide products which helped a little, but it kept coming back. I’ve been using this mask sparingly on my chin for about a month and it A) cleared my acne and B) kept it at bay. Who new sulfur was the key! Just keep it away from your eyes as this is a harsh product.

Not the same as original mask. I purchased this expecting same mask from a few years ago but this is a completely different formula. I saw zero improvement in my skin. I would not recommend this to anyone looking to treat occasional breakouts or problem areas.

I was a little worried that a clay mask would be too drying for the on-the-dry-side skin, but gave it a try. I’m glad it did – it’s more creamy and wetter than typical clay mask. It applied and spread nicely, and since it didn’t dry immediately, gave me time to apply and get a full smooth even coverage. It was a little cooling to the skin as it dried, well it doesn’t really dry, it more like sets. And then pretty easy to remove.

I can't say enough good stuff about this particular mask and I've tried a bunch. This lightweight, fresh formula really does the trick. I used it as a regular "10 minute mask" and it left my face feeling clear and oil-free, and the best part - it leaves it feeling hydrated! Combine this with the Green Tea Moisturizer for a soothing facial treatment.
