Our prescription-grade, microcrystal benzoyl peroxide face wash gets deep into pores to kill acne-causing bacteria at its source. Glycolic acid is a renowned alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells and excess oil. Allantoin, a nourishing botanical, moisturizes the complexion and helps promotes healthy-looking skin.

How to Use:
Renewing Cleanser:
Use this face cleanser twice a day, morning and night. Dampen skin, then massage a dime-sized amount gently into your skin for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
Revitalizing Toner:
Apply this face toner twice a day, morning and night, after washing your face. Apply a nickle-sized amount to a cotton ball or pad and sweep across entire face. Allow the toner to dry (do not rinse off) and follow with Repairing Treatment.
Repairing Treatment:
Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer 1 to 3 times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with 1 application daily, then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.

A: Hey Zi, Renewing Cleanser can be drying, especially when first starting out or during cold dryer months. Although we recommend our moisturizers (since they are non-comedogenic) consumers will always use what they know and love. If the consumer chooses to use a thick hydrator on their face, they should make sure it’s does not contain another acne active (which Palmers Cocoa Butter does not) and that it’s non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores).

The product itself is great, but I’m giving it three stars because the packaging makes it really difficult to use. The bottles are so small that my 11 yr old daughter can’t squeeze the product out. It is helping her acne noticeably in two weeks of use. I will purchase in larger sizes because of this problem alone. The cap also snapped in the second use while trying to close it.

I was on the fence about trying this product but I am so glad I did. My son starting getting severe acne about five months ago. I tried 2-3 products prior to help but they made no improvement. The acne actually got worse, including red rashing from dry skin. Directions state to use Proactiv 2x day but my son chose to use once a day because of his sensitive skin. After about a month, his acne improved by half, and after 2 months it’s almost completely gone! Highly recommend

I like that the routine can be used both day and night, and thought the cleanser had an interesting texture to it, it was unlike the other cleansers I have used. Personally, this made everything worse. I had no redness issues before trying this system continuously for a month. Developed redness (that hasn't gone away in years), acne increased, really drying... Due to the hype, I understand this might work for other people / other skin types, but for my combination skin, it messed me up and took a while to find a new system that worked for me.

I used this as a teenager years ago and it was great. Tried it in my 40’s and it caused such a severe allergic reaction I had to go to the ER!!! Face felt like it was burning off, intense itching , eyes and lips swollen, and horrible hives and rash. Benadryl didn’t even touch it!!! I’m going on day 3 of trying to overcome the side effects of the allergic reaction—still itchy. Skin is flaking now. It was like a chemical V peel reaction times 5!!!!
