After using it, my skin feels super clean and noticeably less greasy, especially around the T-zone. That said, it can be a little strong — there’s definitely a noticeable tingling (sometimes almost a stinging) sensation after application, especially if you have any broken skin or are sensitive. Because of that, I recommend using it sparingly at first, maybe just once a day, and following up with a light moisturizer to prevent over-drying. The scent is very “classic astringent” — strong and medicinal — but it fades pretty quickly. Overall, if you have oily or acne-prone skin and want something that really cuts through the oil and tightens pores, this is an effective, affordable option. Just use with a little caution if you have sensitive skin!

This smells like minty mouthwash. I was convinced someone emptied the bottle and replaced it with mouthwash. Did nothing for my oily skin. Wouldn’t recommend.

Neutrogena clear pore oil eliminating astringent is one of my favorite for a clean pore . It’s non drying and not harsh on my skin.great for all the types of skin.

This is a really good product for oily skin. The price is affordable and the bottle is easy to use. The ingredients might not be the best but it still does its job. It’s has a witch hazel scent. I do like the smell of this product. I also love this product for acne.

I honestly felt like this was alcohol with blue tint. The smell was so strong that I had to hold my breath for about 15-20 seconds whenever I was dealing with this. And because my Tzone is the most oily, my nose would suffer every time I applied it. And I used a cotton ball to apply. It also removed the oil on the surface but it didn’t have a long lasting effect. Give it about 30minutes and the oil is back. I was under the impression that it was supposed to be reducing the oil. It only wipes it off until it comes back. You are better off saving your money and just using pure alcohol.

This smells so bad to me, like stale urine. I know that is so unusual but when I first applied it to my skin I just kept smelling something gross. I am hoping to be able to return it since I’ve barely used it and don’t like it.

I’m really liking this astringent! After just a few days my skin was less oily and the texture of my skin was much better. I only use it every other day as my skin tends to get very dry with anything that contains salicylic acid. I only gave four stars due to the smell (which disappears after drying). I’ll continue using to see if it helps with my minor breakouts…so far so good!

A very necessary product for everyone. Rescuer number one! Salicylic acid helps me very well with acne. The face has become much cleaner and better. Sometimes now pimples come out, I immediately wipe them with it, and everything passes quickly in 2 days! The packaging is minimalistic, convenient. The product does not fade. It's worth it for its money, it's not expensive! The smell is sharp but tolerable, the composition is good!👍
