Q: can you make bread without xantham gum? I am sensitive to it and so is my son.

Unfortunately, xanthan gum is the primary ingredient we use to replace gluten in our breads because is has the same consistency of the “glue” that holds the bread together when it bakes. Q: Does this contain folic acid? My family cannot digest anything fortified with folic acid due to MTHFR gene.

My order is really messed up. I ordered 8 loaves and only received 4. 2 of the 4 didn't have the inside wrap and the crust is VERY hard. I tried to call and was disconnected 3 times during business hours. Called several more time and was connected to someone's voice mail. He was always on the phone or away from his desk. I left several messages and no returned call. Very disappointed

At the time I'm writing this, the 7-Grain variety of Canyon Bakehouse bread is made with olive oil instead of industrial seed oils. Way to go, Canyon Bakehouse! However, for the past couple weeks I've been unable to find it in my two most-frequented grocery stores, so I really hope it hasn't been discontinued. *No seed oils* is important to me and my family. CB's Ancient Grains is pretty good, too, although it contains sunflower seeds, which my husband cannot have, and, unfortunately, canola oil. Boo.

Get’s moldy super fast. The loaves that are vacum sealed last way longer. It’s a shame it’s great for toast and grilled cheese.

I have loved canyon bakehouse for years. Sadly the other breads I loved from them contain the oils that cause inflammation and I'm trying very hard to remove them from my diet. This bread is free of inflammatory oils and gluten. Yay!
