This is the best gel if you’re looking to hold a style! Everything else that I have tried doesn’t work but this gel is supreme! I have 4b-4c very soft hair and I highly recommend if nothing else is working in your hair.

It’s true it isn’t as sturdy for updos but it’s really easy to manage and spread and has a bit of hold. It’s good for easy everyday low hair styles instead of flashy/slick back updos

This gel doesn't work any more. I have been using this gel for years. The formula has definitely changed. It does absolutely nothing to hold my hair.

This is a good product. It works well for my hair, which has two textures. I went through a ton of other gels only to have damaged hair. It was damaged because the other products had alcohol. Alcohol free is the way to go. My hair is finally happy.

This was my go to gel but the last container I bought barely holds my hair in place and by late morning it drops in my face. They must have changed the formula. I do not recommend this gel.

The hold on wavy curly hair isn’t very strong. I don’t get a good cast, even with a lot of this product. It smells ok and it works well if I’m looking for a more gentle wave look.
