I have been buying a sponge similar to this one from a competitor. I personally prefer the ones that you can put into the washing machine to freshen them up, which this one happens to be. They hold up very well under normal use. One side has an abrasive surface which will not harm any dishes or glasses and the other is a cloth covering and there’s a loop on it for hanging up. The only thing is they are rather expensive than the other brand that I was using, but they last longer, with NO smell.

These do not hold soap very well and did not clean my dishes that well. I had to rewash a lot of dishes and they only seemed clean when I used a different sponge. It also retains a lot of water and never really dries. The basic sponges I always get work so much better.
