It helps keep the polish on longer, and that's exactly what it needs to do! The polish lasts me about a week before it starts chipping! I would recommend this product! OPI never fails!

The shade I received was slightly streaky on the first coat, but a second coat covers nicely, which is relatively standard for lots of nail polish. It has decent lasting power, and with the base and top coat, it definitely stays on well.
