Q: In case my original question wasn’t clear enough....I’m trying to find out what is the best depth for a mattress for this bed so there is no gap between the headboard and the mattress.

This bed came with zero instructions, had to guess which parts go where and with which screws to use. Had to print instructions to a bed that similar and use the pictures on the target app to assemble. Hopefully it doesn’t break in the middle of the night

Just received & took out of the box...it's really pretty & thankfully it'll work but it's DEFINITELY more caramel/oat colored than the 'cream' indicated in the description & in photos.

I ordered the Queen size bed in Cream color. Be warned...the color is no where close to "Cream". I am returning the bed without even assembling it. The actual color is closer to a deep tan/mushroom/taupe or putty color. Disappointing that the description did not match the actual bed delivered. The picture attached shows the "Cream" colored footboard on my actual cream colored countertop.

This bed is really good looking and totally unusable. It collapsed at the feet after the fifth night. The metal bent in half and the bed collapsed. It took and hour and a half to put together and now it’s trash

The bed is twin XL. Would have been nice to specify instead of just saying it’s twin. My twin mattress is now too small for the bed. Would target like to send me correct size mattress since they sold to me as a twin

We bought this bed for a basement guest room. It was fairly straightforward to assemble but there are quite a few steps. It seems very sturdy and a good value for the price. It is a little more of a darker beige than I was expecting but works ok.

Upholstery fabric is a little thin but still nice. Wish the headboard was a little longer. With no box spring there is a gap between the top of the mattress and the bottom of headboard.

My 8 yo son has had the bed for a month and two of the wood slats broke randomly. We are both disappointed. It would be great if the manufacturer or target could send two new wooden slats.

This is a great sturdy bed. I believe this bed will last for a good long while. The only disadvantage to this bed was the putting together. The instructions were only six steps long with very little instruction but pictures...so I did a lot of educated guesses. It took me the whole day. But, if I did not have my 8 year old and 3 year old with me at home I bet I could have gotten it done in 2.5 hours.
