52" Crestfield Low Profile Ceiling Fan (Includes LED Light Bulb) - Hunter Fan

This fan is great. It was easy to install and assemble. I was initially hesitant about the amount of light only 3 bulbs would produce but I was so satisfied I installed one in all 3 bedrooms of my house. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

Easy to install. Not as heavy and bulky as some fans. Very quiet. The three lights are enough to light up the living room.

It puts out a good amount of air but the pulsing humming noise is maddening.

Fan works exactly as expected. Nice and bright, tight construction, no wobble. A winner.

We had two of these fans in our living room in bronze and get a lot of compliments on their design. I ordered another one in Matte Silver to put in our bedroom, but the quality was not the same. The finish on all the components is splotchy like it was haphazardly spray painted. More importantly, the housing has two notches opposite from one another that are designed to keep it secure (in addition to 4 screws). One of these notches must have been machined poorly because there was absolutely no way to get it around the motor bracket. Of course I only discovered this once I had spent a considerable amount of time taking down the old fan and wiring up the new one. I ended up having to run a file over the notch to shave it down enough so the housing could slip on properly. For these reasons, I cannot give this fan 5*s.

Easy installation, clear directions and complete package of components. Quiet running with easy speed control. Unit looks good and we expect many years of service.

This fan is perfect for our bedroom which only has a 7.5 foot ceiling and my husband is 6.2 feet. Beautiful and elegant and I love the "snap" on blades. I am ordering the same fan with the down rods for my living room

Easy to follow instructions and installed in about one hour. Lights are bright and fan is quiet

It is attractive, powerful, and quiet. It was generally easy to install except that one of the housing screws broke during installation. Fortunately, I was able to remove it and had an extra.

The crestfield seems to have a design flaw which causes the light kit to twist when the fan is turned on via a wall switch

Received 4 of these fans now for warranty replacements for fans that were 1½ years old, the last one of these I hung, of these warranty replacements, sounded worse than the original fan that was warrantied, a brand new fan just installed sounds like it is 30 years old the very first time I turned it on! Absolutely garbage, yes I am very angry with these fans, and Hunter. Absolutely no quality control. Hunter, better pick it up, I'm tired of putting up new fans and the motors clearly having issues. Used Hunter fans for well over a decade and never any problems until the last few months, now I'm replacing new fans, with more new fans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Hunter- Crestfield 52" Low Profile Ceiling Fan with 3 LED Lights- This is a Beautiful Fan/Light it is also Heavy so I ended up hiring a professional Electrician to install it in my bedroom- it needed a new outlet box since the light that was there is from years and years ago. It really is beautiful and no doubt will last for a long time we have a Hunter Fan in our spare room that has been there for 12 years and runs like it is brand new.
