It did fit lengthwise but could not use the brackets to secure the fit on my frame. The top spring fit piece is what holds this unit place with using backer rod foam I had on hand which I put on one side of unit(wall side) to keep centered on track. My dogs do love it after about three days of learning how to go in and out of the dog door!

This couldn't come fast enough. We have 3 dogs always wanting to go in and out. We visited a friends recently and they had this door. Since we have purchased no more constant up and downs with letting the pups out. Great quality

Easy to install. Dogs love it and so do I. Makes life easier !!

The only redeeming quality about this is that it is a door for a dog or cat. The brackets did not fit properly in my track, so I could not put the bottom one on. It needs weather stripping on both sides included as part of the product. It costs $40 to get that and if you don't it will seep both air and noise through the edges. The instructions are trash and include very few diagrams, the video was much better but was not included as part of the instructions. Fortunately it was on target's website. The door does not include a hole for any kind of latch and the lock that comes with it requires drilling into the stationary portion of the sliding glass door which does not work if you are renting. They should be including a bar instead of a lock as such. I only gave it two stars because it is a doggie door, but I almost would prefer to be able to put a hole in my wall than install this.

Perfect my furry friends. Great quality and easy to install. Love white color. Highly recommend for pet owners.

This door is not 96 inches. It's less than 81!

The information said it goes up to a 93 inch and actually it only goes up to 81 inches and some very misleading information on it

We needed a dog door for our Doberman Zahara to be able to go in and out during the day and had no place to put a conventional one. Our only logical exit was the Sliding Glass Door or cutting a hole in the wall out to the back porch and we weren’t doing that. We are so glad we found this removable panel that fits perfectly into the sliding glass door opening. It’s not a perfect seal but has very little open area between the door and the panel. It’s very easy to put in just lift the spring top in top and bottom grooves and slide as far to the door frame as possible and shut the door up next to the panel. Zahara loves it!!!

Great door very easy to install. I have a 9 month old English Mastiff who has to duck to get in/put so definitely wish it was a taller opening for the flap.

Pros - My very tall dog fits through just fine, I like the magnetic door catch. Does what it's intended to do. Cons - Is not going to achieve a tight fit with the sliding door. I've added weatherstripping and there's still a gap. Off gassing of the plastic when it's in the sun is horrible for the first week or two. Expensive for what you get.

Against the advice from the manufacturer we use this door for a vinyl sliding glass door. Its too thin for the door, so we used wooden shims and weather strips to secure it in place. Once the door is in place, there is not much room for humans to get in and out. Fortunately we do not need to use this door. It is not perfect, but Im grateful.

Great quality and the magnets to ‘seal’ the door are a perfect balance of keeping the dog door shut but not too much to prevent our dog from going out.

Well made, easy to install. My golden retriever fits through the large side and was easy to train her to use it. However, if you live in even a remotely windy climate the door flap will not stay closed once your dog comes through. The magnet strip at the bottom isn't heavy enough to weight it down. We got this so our dog could go outside while we are gone but we aren't home to make sure it shuts. Since we live somewhere that it's windy almost everyday it's frustrating. I did by ceramic self adhesive weights to put onto the flap and that has helped when it's a breeze but with wind, it doesn't.

We got the doggie door about a week ago. After 2 days the one cat had it down no problem. Just today our 10 pound dog finally started using it on her own. We got the small door and works for 2 cats and a 10 pound dog. We're not thrilled with the lock that comes with it. You have to put it either way high or low on the back of the door. It would be nicer if it integrated with our existing sliding door lock. Also, I added some weatherstripping to all sides of the doggie door window pane to stop noise and drafts from coming through. Also another piece of weatherstripping that goes out at a 90 degree angle from the door about 3" to meet the screen door to block the gap that you are left with if you want it cracked open so the animals can use it without running into a screen. These are all things that could have been thought of but overall are happy with the purchase. But just know you may want to make similar modifications.

Awesome easy and fast. This is the xlarge door, and i was worried about fit, but it’s perfect for my slider. I installed on the opposite side from the moving door on the stationary side. I’ve tried them on both sides over the years and like this way best. I removed the flap until everyone was used to the new door, and have to say the flap itself is nice and sturdy and will keep the weather outside!
