Q: I currently have acrylic nails trying to grow out some ripped nails that were very short. Can you apply this under your nail and at the cuticle? Or does it need to be applied over the entire Nail.

Q: Is this like a nail polish? or something that soaks into your nails? Can you use this over color?

A: Hi! This nail strengthener conditions your nail to help heal and improve the surface. It works best when applying to bare nails (in place of Nail Primer). Use this first and follow with polish. As an intensive treatment, apply daily to bare nails until desired strength is achieved.

Very mixed opinions on this product. I received it as a gift and was super excited to try it because I love the Olive & June brand! The first thing I noticed is the smell - in the bottle it just smells like nail polish remover, but on my nails it literally smells like some sort of curry spice?? Which I love, but don’t want my hands smelling like food when I do my nails lol. Also tried it on my partner and it had the same effect, so I know it’s not just me. However, I will say that I like that it’s a liquid that soaks into your nail rather than a polish, and I have noticed that my nails are a bit stronger after the second application. So take that how you will!

Insane! This literally smells like nail polish remover, maybe worse! I thought someone actually put nail polish remover in the bottle. I am so confused. It’s also as thin as water. Do not buy!!!!!!

I’m also using this with the peel-off base. Could be a combo effect, but I really like it so far! As a side note, the strengthened dries pretty much instantly. It does not apply like polish. It soaks into the nail (it looks like it evaporates) instantly, which is nice if you’re on-the-go.

I have been using this proud for about a month now. I can say that I do see a doffent in my nails as they aren’t as frail. However with filling instruction and using this with out nails polish my nails are still chipping. Once they reach a certain point in growth they all start to chip. I don’t know if this is my nails growing out the weak parts or I am allergic to something. Overall I really did enjoy putting this on just wish my nails didn’t chip after roughly two weeks of growth.

Wasn’t the consistency I was expecting at all. It kind of goes on like a dehydrator and basically soaks in/evaporates into the nail. I actually like this because it hasn’t affected the way my polish goes on or the longevity. Nails feels great after only one use, will continue to use under each new nail color application.

I thought the ridge filler was the find of the decade for my elder nails. Turns out this strengthener is the bomb. I like that it isn’t glossy, too. It feels like I’m giving my nails a vitamin and the tendency toward splitting seems…. gone!👏🏻
