Fisher-Price Nickelodeon Santiago of the Seas Sea the Surprise Lorelai Doll

. Construction is good otherwise and design for play is fun. Daughter super disappointed about the lack of color change though.

What little girl doesn't love a beautiful mermaid. They love her.

This was an Xmas gift and a huge bath time hit, the turtle is cold/hot water sensitive and has little purple shells appear on its shell under cold water and disappear in warm water, also Cecilias bottom part of her tentacles the purple and pink depending on the water temp! so those a huge cause and effect fun learning feature for my kid. He’s also obsessed with Santiago and pirates so he was excited to have one of the Santiago toys able to be water safe (large talking Santiago obviously isn’t water safe) he could care less for the bracelet but that is an adorable feature where you can create your own “bracelet of pearls” the gems pop in and out and she drys out pretty quickly so we haven’t had any mold issues so far, definitely recommend!

Cool mermaid to play with in the bath- but we put her and the turtle in cold water and her tail didn’t change color AT ALL. Neither did the turtle. So my daughter was disappointed. I’m not sure if we got A defective one or not. But she still likes the mermaid for the bath

looks just like the Lorelei character on tv. vibrant colors. Nice size at a great sale price. this is a Christmas gift for my granddaughter so we haven't put it in water to see the fins change colors.

So my daughter saw this and really wanted it. From the commercial maybe…I thought it was a bath toy. It is not. She wanted it for the bath so it’s a bummer since it only works in ice water.

This was a gift for my great-niece’s birthday and she LOVED it! Who doesn’t love mermaids???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3-year old granddaughter was thrilled to open the doll when she arrived. She immediately put the included bracelet on and set to work trying to make the shapes show up on the doll's body. This was very difficult for her to achieve. Even we adults had a difficult time doing this. We had to apply ice cubes in order to get any color to show up. This was disappointing. Though she enjoyed playing with the doll, and playing with water, the end result was difficult to attain. The doll's head is also heavy, which made it harder to maneuver. All-in-all, the doll itself was enjoyable, but did not function well as intended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mermaid (Lorelai) toy is part of the Nickelodeon cartoon "Santiago of the sea". Great looking mermaid with excellent accessories. The mermaid comes with more than a dozen small accessories including a clam shell to store them in. These accesories can be placed on the mermaid hair. The doll also comes with a silicon bracelet that can be worn by my daughter so she can pretend to be like her. Something my 3 year old daughter was in love with when she found out what it was. One other great feauture was that the doll came with a small sponge that can be used to preted to bathe the doll and this doll is "color changing" so your baby can have lots of fun. I highly recommend this toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved all the goodies within the shell but I found them tiny, able to be lost and I was afraid they were going to get in to our pool pump system because she liked to play with this doll in our swimming pool. I liked the bigger friends and she enjoyed them as well as a great companion to the mermaid. Great toy though overall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nickelodeon Santiago of the Sea Doll is so adorable! This character is Lorelai. I am glad to see an ethnic mermaid. She is beautiful and such nice quality. She comes with an octopus that color changes! She also comes with little decorative pieces that you can put in her hair and also you can put them in the bracelet included that can fit on the child’s wrist. You can then keep all the small pieces inside of the clamshell for storage! I love this adorable doll and my daughter does too.

The other items did change color, but only with direct ice cube application. Cute doll, but doesn't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mermaid is adorable. The bracelet can also fit on her head. Swapping the charms is a lot of fun. The clamshell holds the treasure. She can sit. The octopus, turtle, and sponge starfish are fun additions.

My daughter loved “bathing” the turtle and octopus to make them change colors (she also enjoyed the mess she made, but good thing it’s only water and can dry lol). The bracelet and charms are adorable and I love how you can put them on the bracelet or in the dolls hair.

She like the octopus & loves the turtle but the decorations for the bracelet are small so they will definitely get lost!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept is great but I wish it were better. Let me start if by saying that the mermaid is adorable. Love the accessories too. My little one loved the bracelet. Such a cute doll. Lorelai is a great size and perfect for little ones. Bath time fun. Unfortunately we didn’t like that you have to use water with ice to see the colors change in the octopus, turtle and mermaid tail. Definitely can’t do this during bath time. Wish you could see the “magic color change” during bath time. But still fun.

She really has enjoyed this doll and the cute plastic shell case is convenient to hold all the little pieces to keep it all together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll is actually bigger than I expected. my daughter loved decorating the tiara and the dolls hair with the pieces provided, they were really easy for her to attach. they also come with her sea friends, she enjoyed cleaning them with the star sponge and playing hide and seek with the shell case provided.
