This is the second evenflo car seat I’ve purchased. The first one expired, and I wanted one that would work with the stroller we already had. The quality of this one is way worse than the first one. Cheaper covering, cheaper, lighter plastic, doesn’t feel as sturdy as the one I purchased 5 years ago. Not worth the money. If you can, look for a different brand with higher quality standards.

We loved this carseat with our first. It came in the Evenflo Pivot travel system. With our second we still have the bassinet and stroller from the travel system but needed a new carseat. I wanted the same carseat with the hopes that it would work with the travel system and it does!!! We got the black instead of tan this time and I think it is going to be so much nicer cleaning wise.

This is a really great car seat for price point and style. We purchased the black "Knoxville" seat for our daughter and it still looks great after 5 months. The fabric isn't cheap and the junky polyster, ours still looks very good.. Very simple clasps & easy to use. Love how smooth the release latch is on the back of the seat when getting her out of the car. Ours has held up very well for how much use it has and will continue to get. Zero regrets and would purchase again. Her next carseat will be the Evenflo 360 based on how much we loved this car seat.

Let this review be the deciding factor for purchasing this car seat or not. I have several kids. I have used Graco and Evenflo. I am currently getting some money together so I can buy my newborn a different car seat. First off, the chest clip stopped staying closed after one month of use. We had used it no more than 10 times. I got home and the chest clip had separated at some point while I was driving leaving my newborn being strapped down by just the legs. They sent me a new one but am I really supposed to trust it? Then, the canopy is so hard to more forward and back, that it has already broke. The replacements are out of stock. The carry handle is so hard to get back up if you put it back like you are supposed to while in the car. My husband had to help because you have to hold the buttons down on both sides where it pivots, then try to rotate it. Nearly impossible. The seat is extremely skinny but long, so good luck fitting it in your back seat unless you move your seat way up or have a van/big suv. It doesn’t come with the seat belt cozies so the belts are going to dig into the baby’s neck. We aren’t supposed to used aftermarket ones because they can interfere with the safety functionality of the car seat. The reason that I purchased this car seat was because of its compatibility with the xplore wagon and the xplore wagon car seat adapter. This adapter only works with Evenflo car seats. Nice. However, I am going to be looking for a Graco infant seat that will at least sit in the wagon adapter. I’d rather find a way to securely strap a Graco car seat into the wagon adapter than continue to let my newborn use this terrible car seat.

The Pivot Xplore infant car seat adapter only accepts the Evenflo LiteMax, SafeMax or SecureMax infant car seats, no other manufacturer's car seats have been tested with the adapter. For the safety of the child no other car seat that is not listed as being compatible with the adapters should be used.

I absolutely adore this car seat so much. It's easy to install, it's affordable/comfortable for my baby, and it has a sleek design. My son was born small (5lbs and 14 ounces) and he was very comfortable win the newborn insert despite being such a little fella. This was probably one of my favorite purchases for my son because it has not been a nightmare car seat (like I've experienced with others). I highly recommend it!

Lightweight and safe. I am grateful I had my 9 Day old newborn in the carseat with base on my way to pediatrician routine visit. I was at a red light and got hit by a truck from behind. My baby was safe no injuries thankful 🙏

Not worth it doesn’t fit all vehicles, I have a jeep compass and it will not fit on the seat. It’s so big the seat belt won’t even buckle it in.

Instead of buying two strollers…I bought one stroller set and purchase this stand alone car seat and it was compatible with the EvenFlo Pivot Stroller! Super light and the green is pretty! It snapped right onto the stroller!

It has a sleek look to it that I love— it’s a bit less clunky than previous car seats. My baby seems very comfortable and snug. One thing I wish is that it came with removable shoulder/chest protectors. The car seat is super easy to remove from the base and easy to return to the base. The handle makes it easy to carry it around. In short, this a great car seat other than one thing. It was so hard to tighten and (especially) to loosen the straps! I kept thinking they were getting tangled or caught on something but no. I have the same issue every time. This is frustrating when I have three other littles who are impatient or if I need to be somewhere ASAP. It takes about 5 good yanks to tighten the straps, which is why I can’t give this a higher rating. I do love the car seat, but this is a big deal for me and would prevent me from buying this in the future. I love that the seat itself is slim and because of that it provides more support for your newborn. I wish that I had this seat when my baby was first born! It was easy to install and fairly easy to take in and out of the base. As far as the ergonomic handle making it easier to carry, I couldn’t tell much difference from the seat we were already using. But it is more narrow which makes it less obtrusive when you are trying to carry baby in the seat. I only gave it a 4 star review because the base is significantly longer and takes up lots of space front-to-back in the car. I really had to move the front passenger seat up pretty far to fit the car seat in. That may be more of an issue for a family with only a single car and would frequently have someone sitting in the front passenger seat. I also feel this seat may not fit baby as long because it’s more narrow or if baby is on the bigger side. My baby just turned one year and fits snug in the seat but she has always been on the small side as far as the percentiles go. So it works great for my family but may be an issue for a bigger baby. Overall I would recommend this seat. I really liked it and will continue to use it in my car until baby gets too big.

My 6 month old is a 20lb big boy, I had given up on carrying him in his old infant car seat. This car seat is so light and easy to carry him in. It is very simple. It was straight forward to adjust to fit my little man and easy to install securely in the car. The only downside is that it did not come with pads on the crotch buckle and shoulder straps, I easily added some I had around, but without them it did not feel as comfortable for my baby. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat.
