A: This is perfect for playtime in the sun & water (swimming included!). We recommend applying every 2 hours (or more, if needed) to maintain effectiveness.

A: The base formulations of our sunscreens are identical. We set out to make the most effective safe sunscreen possible. The kids verson is better suited for sensitive skin with a few less ingredients.

My daughter is very fair and easily burns. As long as I keep up with sunscreen timing she is usually good, if not just slightly red. I used this more often than recommended because she was turning red so fast. I realized the sunscreen was not protecting her at all. After stopping use and switching to something else she didn’t get red at all.

i've been looking for a sunscreen with clean ingredients, and decided to give this one a try. it does leave a tiny bit of a white cast and has that "sunscreen smell" to it, but overall a really good product! i love the formulation and texture, it's easy to apply.

It does not protect against the sun, and my son with eczema had a bad reaction to it, so it is not that gentle. There must be too many oils in it or something. He had hives all over his arms and legs.

They do have a scent that can trigger people who are sentative to scents. I personally put some on the back of my hands and within a couple of minutes a headache started and my nose started to run. Why can't you make a scent-free version!

Sadly, this is only made for fair skinned people. I was really counting on this sunscreen as an everyday use because it contains zinc oxide. Doesn't blend in at all. I can't even walk out of the house with this sunscreen on my face because I would look like a ghost. Will not be purchasing again unless it's acceptable towards all skin tones.

I really wanted to love this, for being just zinc it rubs in so well and barely left a white cast but my face got burnt as well as my daughter’s. We even reapplied the sunscreen and didn’t even go in water. It just doesn’t work at all. It smells good. Super disappointing . I don’t understand why any company can’t make a zinc only sunscreen and it actually work. It’s just ridiculous.

Great mineral sunscreen for kids. I love that it has an SPF of 50 to protect from the sun. I love that it is mineral based as I try to avoid physical sunscreens from absorbing into me and my kids’ skin. It was effective at keeping us from getting sunburned and it rubs in nicely

This is maybe the best mineral sunscreen I've ever used. It's more expensive than others, but it goes on SO much smoother and with less of a white cast than other brands. It is also non-nano and smells like Fruit Stripe gum! I found we used much less than other brands to get the same coverage, too. My kids love it. I love it. I would definitely recommend this.

I trust this stuff completely! It’s priced well, is smooth to apply, always protects as promised, works well in the water, and smells just fine (no scent added, but smells clean). A perfect sunscreen for kids or adults, and safe for baby. Nothing compares!

Not the worst sunscreen but if you try to apply it over your normal morning skincare without waiting it will pill pretty badly. I have medium tan/oily skin and there is a noticeable white cast that fades after a couple minutes. It doesn't give me breakouts but it has made me feel greasy after a few hours. Perfectly fine for a body sunscreen but would try to find something else for face.

I used this properly, and it did not protect my face. I got a burn. I am a daily spf user because I am fair with freckles. I wanted to like it because it's a micro zinc that does not leave a cast. BUT it did not protect my skin. It smells very pretty, like a botanical smell, and the scent is light. I won't buy it again because it did not work for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is all I've used on a consistent basis with my daughter. When I've tried to switch to other brands she ends up with a burn or itchy bumps. The only issue is she doesn't get a tan when we use this. Even tho she is on the swim team she is super pale. But at her age I'm more interested in saving her skin and if I forget to reapply in 90 minutes I know she'll be okay.

My kids use this sunscreen, my husband and I use this sunscreen, everyone uses this sunscreen. It's one of the few sunscreens I really enjoy the smell of and though it's mineral-based, doesn't leave that thick sticky residue all over your body once you rub it in. It is literally the only sunscreen I will ever buy!
