A: Our chemist is a woman of color so this is always at the forefront when we formulate. This product does melt in! However all mineral sunscreens work by providing a physical barrier from the sun, always sitting on the surface of the skin -- meaning it is not clear like a chemical sunscreen so we always like to be honest about how it works! xo

Well, this sunscreen is even better than Beautycounter's in my opinion! It never separates and goes on smoothly. I'm now a repeat customer of this great product!

I really wanted to like this because of the ingredients but it made my face so itchy and was breaking me out especially around my neck area. Unfortuantely will need to return this and stick with my Think sunscreen. It was out of stock which is why I thought I’d give this a try.

Thank you for sharing -- all of our products are extensively tested and have been clinically tested on sensitive skin. This said, everyone's skin is different! We highly recommend you share the ingredients with your medical provider to see if there is a botanical or other ingredient you are sensitive to.

I have pretty fair skin so this doesn’t leave a white cast as long as I rub it in. My husband had more olive skin and it left him with a white cast, especially on his hairy legs where it’s harder to really rub it in. Seems to be working great for me tough. There isn’t really a scent, but the scent that it does have is a little odd.

This is the best sunscreen for everything and everyone. I am a mom of 4 boys 10 and under and I am equally concerned with what we put on their skin and the sun protection. My boys, like me have super sensitive skin and we had no problems while using, in addition to no burns.

My new go to suncare product. I have vitiligo (think being a partial albino) so sun block is a basic staple in my life. When I started my search again this spring for my next best sunscreen options it didn't go well. I always start my search at the EWG website https://www.ewg.org/sunscreen/best-sunscreens/best-moisturizers-with-spf/. I tried several of other brands without success. Pretty much every other brand of mineral sunscreen I have tried is just too thick, heavy, greasy and leaves the typical white film and cast. Then you just hope you don't sweat or it gets ugly and embarrassing fast. Even though this sunscreen is still mineral based it is a lot lighter and a lot less greasy. I've learned that some film on the surface of your skin is just a necessary byproduct of mineral based sunscreen. That's pretty much how it works, by sitting on the surface of your skin and blocking and absorbing the UV rays. Every Solara product I have tried has been best of class when it came to how it felt on the skin. This Mineral Defense Sport works best for me on larger areas of exposed skin.

This product is outstanding! I highly recommend it for all males and females out there. It does not go on heavy, and keeps you protected throughout the day. The best part about this sunscreen for your body is the protection from both the UVA and UVB rays. It's also the safest on the market. There are no risks whatsoever as this is EWG verified.I purchased this item for my children who use it all the time. Even after a day outdoors, you can easily wash this off in the shower. The packaging is great and I'm hoping to see this in Whole Foods across the country.

After using La Roche Posay, trying Super Goop, and using Naturium, this is my favorite one!! I have sensitive skin, acne prone due to medications, and oily/dry combo. It does not leave a white cast at ALL (im light to medium tan), feels clean, does not sting, and protects my skin so well. I highly recommend you try!

It's a nice medium thick, non greasy cream that absorbs easily into your skin. It protected our skin in the 95 degree heat after 5 hours at a softball tournament. My husband and I were not sunburn at all. Love your product and highly recommend it.

I just started using this product and absolutely love it. Mineral sunscreens are usually a little tough to rub in, but the texture of this sunscreen is amazing!!!! I am so excited for 1) the texture and ease of application 2) the price (!!!), and 3) the size of the bottle!!! Most similar sunscreens are the same price for a bottle half the size. I love this sunscreen!

Leaves a very stark white cast on the skin. For context my tone is ranges from a light/medium to medium/tan during the year. I like the strength of the spf and will use it for outdoor workouts on my arms/neck
