Ergobaby Omni Dream All Carry Positions Soft Touch Cotton Baby Carrier for Newborn to Toddler

I purchased the Omni Dream Carrier and gifted it to a first-time Mom for her baby shower gift, which she Loves. She is so excited and is looking forward to using it. The quality is amazing!

Such a cute print. Took it with us to travel to Hawaii and my babygirl fell asleep in it for 2 hours and we used front facing for walking around and she loved seeing everything. I now take it with me to the grocery store as well and she falls asleep with it. I love this carrier so much it’s such a game changer to hold your baby and she the world from her perspective. I recommend scheduling a consultation they helped so much with the positioning and tips to put on the carrier myself. I also love how it includes a sunshade for when I’m outside or want some privacy in the store.

We started with the Embrace for our newborn and I loved it so much I was hesitant to move onto this model but no surprise, it’s a dream! The straps have so many ways to wear (and the baby too) that it is so versatile I can see it growing with us for a long time! I loved the X strap design of the Embrace, but this one is SO comfy and supportive for my back. I never feel pulled forward or clenching my butt to counteract the front weight. We started using this when he was 15lbs and he fits great! LOVE the adjustable leg portion so I know baby’s hips are safe whether he is faced inward or outward. It’s sturdy enough I know I can wash it a million times, but already the fabric is so soft and malleable. We got given a bunch of carriers and have to say this one is my husband’s favorite because he can put it on by himself and even though he has sciatica, he wears him for hours in this without pain! The baby cries when the walk/outing is over and we take him out😆

I really liked the fit and feel of this carrier. It was soft and breathable even on a hot humid day (in the all black color). My baby slept great in it during nap time but was able to enjoy walks way more than being in the stroller. My husband and I appreciated all the different ways to wear it depending on what we were doing and where we were going. Was super easy to use on and off an airport -YAY no stroller fiasco. It was very comfortable considering our extreme height difference (him 6'7" me 5'2"). We finally found a single carrier that works for both of us. Even though we received the product from Stellar Product Testing Panel we would have bought this product after seeing it or testing it in a store. Absolutely worth the purchase hands down.

This is my new favorite carrier and we have tried several. With that said, I don't think any carrier is perfect, so here are the pros and cons of the Omni Baby Dream Carrier after having used it at home and going through the airport with an 18 month old that weighs about 24 pounds: Pros: - The pockets on the waist belt, ideal size for a pocket size hand sanitizer. - The detachable little bag on the waist belt (one of my favorite features). It is big enough to comfortably but a smartphone and a few other things and even has slots to organize them. - The material is soft and didn't seem to makey son too hot. I was definitely comfortable in it. - The fact that you can do any position: Front (facing forward or back), back, or side carry. - You will be able to use it for quite some time because it goes up to 45 pounds - The panel on the waist belt so the strap is not just bearing into you, especially if your stomach is soft like mine during back carry. - There are two places to adjust the circumference of the waist belt - The position of the clips for the shoulder straps is perfect for back carry (which is our preferred carry style), My arms didn't ever chafe against them like they do with a similar carrier I have from a different brand. - The shoulder straps are easy to tighten while the baby is already on your back so you can get the right tension. - I really liked the adjustable head support pillow as well. - Still looks good after s few washes on gentle cycle - Padded shoulder straps Cons: - The biggest con for me came up because of the way we use it so this may not happen to you but I take my son into and out of back carry alone so that involves twisting the waist band around to the side and then straightening it out again (shifting him to side and back) which made the velcro tabs kind of lift up at the edges and become uncomfortable for me. Once I figured this out I tried to be more careful about it, which did help - In side carry, the top strap has a tendency to go toward your neck - The shade hood bunches up some in it's pocket after you wash it Overall, I am very satisfied. Other things I would add is that when you want to switch between strap configurations, the stairs may touch the floor. I kept it on my back during the flight after I had taken my son out and was completely comfortable having it behind me. The instructions for the different configurations are a series of drawings. Once you get the hang of the different configurations, switching between them and adjusting is pretty straightforward. At least between back and side carry. Please note that these are my honest opinions after using this product that I received for free through the Stellar Product testing panel.

[I received this carrier from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.] The cotton fabric feels nice and soft. The overall structure of the Omni Dream Baby Carrier feels sturdy and safe. My only issue is that the manual can be hard to understand and I have to resort to youtube videos to figure out how to wear it the right way. There’s also a lot of straps, buckles and fasteners that I found it to be a but overwhelming when trying to use. The carrier was comfortable for both me and my baby and fit us just right. I do like how the carrier itself looks and it is very functional. I would recommend this carrier but also keep in mind that you should really take the time to practice how to use it.

I love baby wearing. As a dad I find it can be hard to find a carrier that fits both my wife and I equally as comfortable. This carrier does just that! My older daughter as well as my youngest son both fit comfortably in the carrier- my youngest falls fast asleep within minutes! The fabric is so soft and comforting. This carrier allows us to not only go on fun adventures but also just to get things done around the house, hands free. I love the added pocket for holding my keys and phone. This carrier is so comfortable to wear and also so comfortable for my baby to be in! She loves to sleep in it or just snuggle as we walk around. It fits me really well with all of the adjustable options. I love the soft-brushed cotton fabric! It is way more comfortable for me and baby than other carrier materials I have used. It is super easy to put on and adjust the carrier for me and even to have my husband or grandma use it would be a cinch to change the adjustments with how the straps are set up. My favorite feature of this carrier is how easy it is to put it on! I love that there is no velcro and it is just a big buckle at the back around the waist and then small buckle once the baby is in it on my shoulder blades. I also love that there is a zipper pouch at the front waist area with 2 sections- perfect for keys or a phone or a snack or diaper. It also has 2 small elastic pockets on the waist sides that could hold a pacifier or a phone or small wallet or keys. It is so nice to be able to adjust for baby forward facing or facing inward with just a slider and not having to button and unbutton to adjust. I think it is also nice to have the option to make the back straps cross. It is also so nice that the pillow area can fold in for newborn support instead of having to get a newborn insert, plus it is comfortable for an older baby to fold up to support their head as they sleep facing in and then fold out and down for when they are awake and want to look around. I also really like the cloth piece that stores in a little pocket on the front that can be easily taken out to protect baby from the sun, rain, or just to have privacy or to create a darker area for baby to nap. We have older kids and are on the go a lot, at school and sport events often, and this makes taking a baby much easier! I also like that this carrier can hold even toddlers with the weight it is capable of carrying. It also has the options to wear baby on your side or back, but I haven’t tried those yet since my baby is still pretty small. I received this carrier from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I REALLY wanted to love this one, I was so excited that I received this carrier from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but it fell short for me. It is not terribly comfortable and it's hard to put on, it was a two-person job. I couldn't reach the back clips to secure and to take it off. Although baby seemed to enjoy the view from the front-facing option, this mama felt like she was falling over, The inward-facing position was slightly more comfortable. I own another ergo baby carrier and I feel as though that one is much more comfortable, the shoulder straps on the Omni are not nearly as padded as on their other models. The storage pocket is too low and not easily accessible unless taken off, although I do like the removable feature. It's not all bad, I did enjoy the lower back support and the soft-brushed cotton fabric was very nice and breathable for the warmer months. Overall I do not recommend the Omni, which still is a bummer cause I really wanted to love it.

I’ve been loving this carrier for a few weeks now, and have been amazed at how much more comfortable and easy it is to use than my previous baby carrier. Depending on the day and what were up to, I’m able to carry my infant, 1 year old, and 3 year old on front carry, back carry, or outward carry (for the older boys). Each of them loves it! It is so easy to adjust between different children, and I’ve had no discomfort at all while wearing them or after. Wearing your baby or toddler has so many great benefits, and this carrier in particular is amazing that it is an all-in-one carrier and can be used from age newborn to 4 years old. With my infant, it’s been so convenient to be able to breastfeed him while in the soft and cozy carrier, and the baby privacy hood is great when in public or we’re outside and he’s needing shade. We’ve been building a chicken coop, growing flowers, and planting trees, and this carrier has been a lifesaver, allowing me to get so much more work done! And have nice bonding time with my child at the same time. A big win win! I received this carrier from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but these are my own true opinions. I highly recommend this carrier!

This carrier could not have come at a better time! I received this carrier from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and as someone who owns several different carriers this is my current favorite! My small-ish 10m old son can get swallowed up by some of the other carriers we have, but this one is so versatile, lightweight, and comfortable for both of us. I especially like the function where you can change the width of the seat to adjust for baby's height. The new "slider" function to adjust for inward v. outward-facing is also a time-saver compared to the buttons on previous models. The low back support on this is much-improved too, which is something I didn't really realize I was missing until the Omni came along. My only teeny tiny complaint is that all my other carriers are grey/khaki, and they once I received is black which shows every single drool drop. Other than that, I have ZERO complaints

I was so excited to receive this carrier from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have owned several Ergo carriers throughout the years, so I have a fine eye for detail in what features are most important to me. I am a very petite mom (5'1) and often times, carriers can be too heavy and bulky on me. While this carrier is not necessarily "sleek", it is not as bulky as other cotton carriers. My 9 month old baby was very comfortable, although it was difficult for me to know how wide to set the velcro for her, since the guidelines were by baby's height. I don't measure my baby except at doctor appointments, so I was wearing it on the wrong setting for a few weeks until I corrected it. My husband was easily able to adjust it to his size as well, although he found it a bit more difficult to get the lumbar support to be centered on his lower back. The cotton of the carrier is much softer than other cotton structured carriers, but not by much. It would be nice a warm on a cozy day, but I found it a bit hot in warmer weather. My favorite features of this carrier are the ability to put baby seated forward and the zippered pocket in the front. I like how the pocket doesn't cut into baby's back like in older models. Overall, I'd give this a 4 out of 5 stars. I prefer the breathability of the mesh, but I still think this is a great carrier.
