Love the smell how creamy it was texture was great used it on my older kids ages 6 and 4 BUT My 18 month old had a very bad reaction to the lotion and broke out in a rash all over her body, returning to regular baby Johnson lotion as that one does not make her break out in a rash.

I love the smell of this lotion. It does great on my kids skin. My only issue is that I don’t understand why Dove made this particular lotion bottle in the 8oz but all the other Dove baby lotions come in 13, 18 or 20oz. I’m assuming it has to do with the consistency/texture of the lotion itself. But it that is the case at least make the bottle size bigger or a different bottle frame altogether. The lotion gets used up pretty quickly in my opinion.

So far the cream has not irritated his skin. The cream is light weight and it's not oily. The smell is really light. I wish it was a little stronger.

The Dove Melanin Rich Skin Nourishment Cream is now my go to. It doesn’t leave an oily feeling to your skin nor does it feel like it’s a majority water-based lotion. I use it all over twice a day and it has worked magic on my skin. I’ve even recommended this to a few people.

I'm beyond surprised of how soft my baby's skin became in just 1 day! I've been trying so many products to the point I was going to lose hope and start the steroid cream the doctor prescribed for him. This amazing cream saved the day! I just can't believe how soft his skin turned out. All inflamed areas are gone and he sleeps at peace without trying to scratch his whole body. I'm just . Eager to try the baby oil next
