My husband and I bought this seat as part of the Tayla travel system 3 months ago for our newborn. We fell in love with at the store when testing it out but once my son was in it he was always uncomfortable to the point I had to pull my car over to calm him down. It’s very hollow behind the fabric and there is no back support at all. It’s also advertised that there is climaflow tech that keeps baby cool but it seemed that he was always very warm in it. I had such high hopes but was extremely disappointed especially since I don’t think any other car seat is compatible with the stroller.

Really upset we loved this car seat / travel set so much in the store. We now have a 7 week old / have been using it for 7 weeks. Our biggest issue is the car seat itself. The stroller + bassinet part is great. We have never been able to get the top cover on the car seat to stay in which drives me NUTS. There is no way for it to stay secure and does not pop in or tuck in or anything to the back. And just like other reviews the car seat fabric itself popped out and we CANNOT get it back in!!!!! It is so frustrating! Do NOT recommend buying this set!!!

We are super happy with this car seat. The base is easy to install, once done so correctly it doesn’t move at all in our vehicles. The car seat itself is lightweight which was a game changer since our child was on the heavier side. We had no issues adjusting straps and love how well ventilated this car seat is. Living in southern AZ, that was one of our most important features we looked for. And baby is always in a comfortable temperature. Completely irrelevant to a car seat, but we’ve received lots of compliments about how neat it looked. After 8 months of use we have now upgraded to a convertible seat as baby is just too heavy to lift around in the infant car seat. Otherwise we would’ve kept her in it longer.

I'm extremely disappointed with this product after six months of use. The white foam on top is already exposed and worn out, making me worry about its safety and durability in case of an accident. Additionally, it's frustratingly difficult to take apart for cleaning and reassemble properly. The product also doesn't sit securely on its base. Despite its appealing appearance, I regret purchasing it and would not recommend it to others. The design flaws have made it more of a hassle than a helpful tool.

This is the 2nd one of these car seats that I had. The first one the latch button broke and I didn’t even get to use it. My infant seems very uncomfortable in the car and the back of the car seat is coming out

Echoing what everyone else said it’s a little concerning how little back support it gives my baby. My next thing is how heavy it is. I have a fast growing baby, 17 lbs at 6 months I’m only 5ft weighing in at 115lbs. This car seat is EXTREMELY heavy and bulky. I wanted to love it but ultimately I sadly regret not doing enough research about other car seats. So far tho, with safety not issues, thank God, the lining is intact but not the best car seat on the market.

Horrible car seat and such a waste of money. I purchased this thinking I was getting a nicer, higher end car seat and I was so wrong. My baby had a blowout in the car seat, so we had to remove the fabric to wash it, and the fabric will never go in or stay in place now. I’m constantly having to pull it around, but I’ve just accepted I’ve wasted my money and it’s become unsafe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got an infant car seat from you guys and my child just turned 7 months and barely 14 pounds and the entire thing is completely falling apart. The fabric is falling off in every spot and won’t go back in, the strap that goes over his chest on the left side barely tightens which makes it uneven on his chest and can’t meet the safety guidelines to put him in it, you can hear the glue is starting to detach in the back, the handle to the stroller broke 2 months into using it, now it’s starting ti break in other areas. I’m just overall very unhappy about this. I have to go buy a new car seat because it isn’t even remotely safe to put my child in this thing anymore and I have barely been using it for a half a year. I barely even use it all that much either, I barely go anywhere, so he is barely ever even in the thing.

I got this car seat thinking it was gonna be great and it has been such a pain to deal with. The cushioning on the back is constantly coming off and exposing the styrofoam underneath and it’s impossible to get back on. It’s also not padded much and seems like it could be very uncomfortable for my baby… I am very disappointed with the product.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. My baby hates it, it’s too compact and gets insanely hot even if baby is in short sleeve onsie. I hate how cramped my baby is in this car seat and the stroller sucks. The stroller reclines back too far. Worst of all the carrier is so bad about chin to chest positioning which is so dangerous for baby!

I have 5 kiddos so I have used my far share of car seats, this is by far THE WORST! I would avoid buying, as another like chicco or britax are much better quality. If I can help one person avoid buying the seat, I will be happy.

If I can give this a negative number rating I would . I wanted to love this car seat so bad because it was esthetically pleasing and gmfut perfectly for my tiny car but the shade part comes off everyday after "fixing it" the lining is coming off my daughter HATED being in the car seat as a newborn screamed every single time and I think after reading reviews I'm now thinking it's because of the seat being uncomfortable and causing back pain . DO NOT BUY

We got this car seat 3 months ago for our newborn and wanted to love it. However it has been a nightmare. The inner lining came off by itself and it is impossible to get back on. I’m not even sure it’s safe to use with the inner lining not secure. The canopy also falls off and won’t stay up. I am extremely disappointed especially for how much it cost definitely did not get what I paid for. I was going back and forth between this and grace and regret not choosing grace. Now I have to spend hundreds more to get a new car seat that is safe for my baby to use. Please new parents avoid the danger and headache and get a different car seat.

Falling apart after having for 6 months. We washed it after an infant blowout (which happens all the time). The fabric no longer fits the seat and the sunshade is constantly coming unlatched. We decided to buy a different seat as this is SO annoying to deal with. A $200 seat should not be this low quality. Do not buy!

Bought two Maxi-Cosi Mico Luxe Infant Car Seats for my twins. One has been perfect, but the other started having issues over a short time—the fabric came loose, and the canopy detached. Disappointed with the durability on one seat.

My pictures did not post in my previous review. There is a step off on the back of the seat which can cause harm to the baby's back like it did with my daughter and I also initially received a defective seat with the Styrofoam separating from the seat at the head of the seat. DO NOT BUY. This seat needs to get recalled.

If you value the health of your baby please buy something better. This has very little back support especially if you have a baby with a long torso, this car seat was wrecking havoc on my daughter's back. I ended up taking her to the chiropractor. She would cry once the car was in motion... A very low cry with tears, she was petrified to move in it. I only noticed it because I sit in the back with her. If you look behind the cushions it's really hollow and there's a step off mid/low back. I was horrified when I noticed this my daughter had an adjustment just around the same area where the step off is in the back. Please do not buy this. I regret ever putting my baby in this car seat I just hope I can get a refund, I would gladly return this. I should have requested a refund when I had to exchange my original seat due to it being defective 😡 worst purchase ever
