The polysteel flashlight is an excellent choice for home and to keep in your auto it provides a great beam and runtime. The price is great so you get your money’s worth. It feels great in your hand with excellent grip and it’s a perfect size to weight ratio.

I own several of this model. I keep them in car, in the shop, in my backpack, my tool kit, and in the house. They get used regularly and never disappoint.

Nice flashlight. When I ordered it I expected it to come with the rechargeable battery. It does not better read everything. I felt it was misleading. Once I received it I went back and read the whole description and you have to look at the specs to see what you actually get.

I like what this is made out of some kind of strange rubbery plastic stuff it’s easy to hold onto. It’s got a good texture fits in the hand. Great I need to get the smaller one. I have three of the four battery black ones and I need to get another red one that I think only has three batteries and it’s a lot smaller and I saw that they’re making one out of the same materials that looks like a pan probably gonna have to have that as well.

Bought a couple twin packs after the holidays a few years ago. Passed them out to family. Great size, power and durability for all-round use, i.e. for car, around house, take camping/hiking, night walks with or w/o dogs, use them on my road & mountain bikes, etc. The non-metal shell is nice, keeps hands from getting cold on winter days unlike a metal flashlight. Like the High, Medium & Low intensity choices w/o the strobe or SOS, those are not necessary for general purpose use. The focus to flood feature is good, though I would like the focused beam to be a few degrees tighter. Actually, be great if the focus end had a range (from current focus limit to tighter focus) of several degrees before transition to the donut shaped bean on to flood. This would improve its effectiveness down trails or road. Existing beam is good on walks as it lights up sidewalk well edge-to-edge. Had two issues with flashlight over the years and the service department was great, sending me replacements. Big thumbs up to service department and Coast for backing their product!

I purchased the light because I thought I could use a standard 18650 battery (my mistake). BUT like many other companies Coast wan’t to keep details a secret, and sell their own “ZX865” battery.

Bought a Polysteel 400 a couple of years ago and use it daily, mostly to take out the dog at night. It is very sturdy, well-made, comfortable in the hand and the perfect size to throw into my carryon when traveling. It also has a lifetime warranty. When it suddenly stopped working recently, I contacted Coast Products. Completed the form, explained the problem and uploaded a photo of the flashlight. The warranty claim was approved in a few days and a new flashlight arrived in less than two weeks!. Wonderful service to accompany an excellent flashlight.

I have a few of these and they are my go-to for everything small enough to jam in your pocket big enough to do the job I like the fact it can't roll away from you like a lot of the round ones you can set it somewhere and it will stay there the rechargeable battery is really nice I have had a few problems but they've always been resolved real quick with Coast their products are outstanding and I love the lights quickly the Stand by their products and that's that's all you can ask for.

Coast flashlights are great because they’re reliable, bright and the switch just turns it on and iff, you dont have to toggle through fladhing lights. Just on and off. Perfect. And the warranty is second to none. They stand behing their products.
