Description
Daffodils (botanically called Narcissus) are long term perennials and make for great companions to not only other bulbs, but also annuals, perennials, and all sorts of shrubs. They soften hardscapes, accent most any garden, and are an inexpensive solution to adding color to your garden on nearly any budget. They are relatively pest free, and deer will not eat them. Daffodil classifications become quite technical, as they are divided into 13 divisions according to their flower shape and heritage by the American Daffodil Society. They do well throughout most of the U.S., as long as there is a discernible winter. Daffodils are ideal for large plantings and naturalizing, making them an exceptional value item and providing years of carefree color. The daffodils in this mixture may be diminutive, but they have all won the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. They are fragrant and will provide a long season of bloom, beginning with the early blooming Little Gem and ending with the late blooming Sun Disc, along with the others blooming in between mid-season: Minnow, Kokopelli, Segovia, and Jet Fire. Nine bulbs cover about a square foot. Deer resistant and very easy to grow by anyone and anywhere. Best of all, if USDA zone appropriate, they will return for years to come with no effort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did plant these and put them inside a mini greenhouse and will transfer to my yard soon. I did put some around my home as well. I love gardening. Can't wait to see them blossom. This will give such a beautiful addition. They were very easy to use. Not hard at all and quick to do. Anyone can do it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bulbs arrived in a nice package and came with a really nice card explaining how to plant them. I am excited they are deer resistant as the deer love eating my flowers. Can’t wait to see all the different varieties bloom in the spring!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So these need to be planted in the fall, which I will be doing this weekend. I am super excited to have different flowers blooming during different times. The bulbs come in different sizes. I have one massive one. Hope it grows a lot of flowers. I am excited to see these in spring time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this box of deer resistent daddies in hopes of enhancing the look of my garden next spring. The bulbs came with very detailed and clear instructions and do not appear to have been damaged during shipping. I cannot comment on the quality of the flowers as I plan to plant them within the next few weeks for a spring bloom. I give 4 stars for packaging and clear instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's still too early to give an opinion of these daffodil bulbs, as I have not yet put them in the ground. I love the variety available in this selection and the colors are so uplifting and joyous. I can't wait until next spring to see what emerges from the ground. Fingers crossed!
