I really love the idea of these for my toddler. The packaging is super cute and there’s a ton of information on how and when to plant, how and when to transplant, etc. The only unfortunate thing is the ones we planted in the provided pot haven’t grown, but the leftover seeds we just scattered in the yard are growing. Maybe I just don’t have a green thumb lol

The packaging and simple instructions are great. The kit is extremely user/kid friendly. My toddler is obsessed with flowers so this was a great way to teach him about gardening basics. Unfortunately, only 2 of the 3 seeds sprouted after a week. It's a very basic kit with everything you need but I have to take down the stars for not supplying more seeds. For the cost, maybe even 5 or 6 would have accommodated the risk of nongerminating seeds. I still would recommend families teaching young ones but be aware this is a very limited kit. If you are looking for greater variety of flowers, I'd recommend "Backyard Safari Co Grow Gardens" kit that comes in a simple egg carton.

My grandfather uses to have a garden out back where he'd grow Watermelon amongst other things, and I must say...this was so much easier than that. Lol Easy instructions that my kids could follow even on their own. They loved it! Definitely a family affair you have to try!
