100% polyester, unlike the "Fit and Style" description

Under the description on the Target app for “Fit and Style” it said that this item is “97% cotton and 3% spandex”. When the item arrived the tag says “100% polyester”. It wasn’t until I read every section of the Target app that I noticed that under “Product description” it says that it’s polyester, which conflicts with what it said in the previous section. I had not expanded every subsection in the app, but it should also not have conflicting descriptions. Since I specifically purchased this because the website listed this as being 97% cotton, I will need to return this. The fit is very slim and quite fitted, so a medium fit ok on a very athletic male and the appearance is like the photo, so someone else may like it if the material is not an issue for them.
