We’ve used this for our son for ≈a year now. He has lightly curly/wavy hair and we love this brand. It smells absolutely amazing and his hair looks healthy and is super soft! I’m so sad when it goes out of stock for longer periods of time, but thankfully a little bit goes a long way!!

I’m on a bit of a learning curve with my 2yo daughter’s hair. She inherited some beautifully curly hair from daddy, not super tight but it gets frizzy and tangly quickly. I can’t just wash her hair and leave it like my son’s. I got her some leave-in conditioner for curly hair and that works great until she sleeps on it. Then it’s back to frizzy. I found this conditioner and have been playing around with how much to use, and with or without the leave in conditioner. Her hair is still quite fine and growing in, so too much of this and her hair looks greasy. However, as I’m learning the right amount, it leaves her curls silkier and more defined for much longer. I’m enjoying how it’s customizable, more or less, leave in for longer or rinse immediately, and it can even be used as a leave in conditioner. This seems to be an optimal product for curly hair!

I wouldn’t suggest this for wavy baby hair or barely even curly just because when you rinse it out after everything the hair still feels weighed down and greasy. Definitely moisturizing and has great slip, but be aware of your baby’s hair texture.

WOW! Night and day difference! My daughter is biracial (75% white and 25% Puerto Rican) and my dad’s curls showed up when she was born! I don’t have her hair texture and it’s been a journey to figure out what works. Her hair has been getting matted every day and she cries huge tears when it’s time to brush it out. After ONE use I could easily brush through her curls and they were not matted at all after a full day at pre-school! Wow!
