The bookcases come all in one piece and are decent quality. The only downside is they don’t fit anything but small books! None of the medium or large books fit so we had to take them back.

I love my new bookcase and could not wait to put in my home. I received it quickly and it was very well packaged. My only complaints are 1) the interior boards of the bookcase look like they did not finish painting and paint drip shows but I filled the bookcase so it really doesn't show. 2) there was a small tear in the top upper back left corner of the wrapping material and the same spot in the wood of the bookcase was obviously touched-up. But again I put things on top so it doesn't show and I did not want to wait and deal with returns. I also thought $40 was a little excessive for a "handling" fee. Other than that I am very pleased with the bookcase and it fits nicely in my small apartment.
