I think the kit is beautiful from the look of the box. I just had to have it. After making it I found it to be awkward. The long straight stitches are almost impossible to get tight because the material isn’t tight enough on the frame. I also felt like the outline stitching around those flowers didn’t give it an organic feel. I removed that outline stich. The long stitches created a very messy look IMO. I ended up removing most of the long stitches to do the little loop ones. You can see in my photo the changes I made. The yarn also doesn’t come nicely twisted like it’s shown. It comes in balls. I definitely had more than enough yarn, I don’t even know how it was possible for others to run out. I think with changes I made I like my finished piece better. I wish there was a way to actually frame the piece but the sizing of 8.5” makes it almost impossible The whole thing is 10” but I don’t want the empty border to be seen. Overall it was a decent start to punch needling.

First of all, Mondo Llama is the ____(insert fun word here). I love trying new crafts and you make it fun, affordable, and actually cute! So happy with this, even if I am terrible at it haha.

This kit didn’t come with the pink yarn.

Gift for a young adult. They are super excited to craft this for their new apartment

There was not enough yarn to complete this activity. My daughter is only halfway through this and now we’re heading to Michael’s to buy yarn to match. Not cool!

it's not listed anywhere but this item is NOT eligible for return. i made the mistake when i bought this as a gift, and the receiver didn't want it... stuck with this now.

This was the first time for me to try this kind of art. Was hard in the beginning but was super fun. Just watch some videos on YouTube. Will be helpful

It was a great kit! I had such a good time doing this craft for the first time.

Absolutely LOVED this product. Highly recommend! I decided to forego the black background for now, as I like the way the white looks. I can always add the black later if I decide to. The quality is high. Hanging this in our camper.

Have not tried making yet, but excited to start it as I love the design.

Was struggling a bit at first but got the hang of it pretty quickly. Lost the threader halfway through but was able to just feed yarn through punch tool and intercept yarn at hole with pair of scissors and some tweezers; was inconvenient but not the end of the world. Had plenty of yarn left over. Excited to gift finished product :)

Missing the threader. I should have read the reviews before bc it seems like this is a common issue.

The punch needle was too thick, and so tore the fabric. Thus, I couldn't do this craft.

The kit came with all the necessary items but the quality was not good.

The box is unopened and in good condition. I can’t say more than that because this is a gift for a granddaughter who loves crafts.
