It needs an extra rinse to get it all out of your hair. When done properly it leaves my hair soft and shiny!

The smell. Ohhh dear - Let’s just say it took some getting used to. It reminds me of my natural bug spray (All Terrain Herbal Armor), which I love - as bug spray. Do I want my hair smelling like a citronella candle? Debatable. But, I stuck it out because I told myself there’s no way they’d let that smell fly if the formula wasn’t amazing otherwise. And let me tell you, it is. Seriously the best cleansing conditioner, or cleanser / conditioner period. I’m so glad I stuck it out. Cleans well, and I can use it consistently without major buildup. Which wouldn’t be as impressive but for the fact that this stuff is mega moisturizing (in a light, glorious kind of way). I have 2B/2C curls, and this stuff works great as a detangler (enabling me to better form my curls in the shower) and moisturizer. I can’t imagine switching back to anything else. And despite the smell, I’m thankful they didn’t add any added fragrance in the formula (as someone with sensitive skin, I super appreciate this fact!). Lovely packaging as well. Super sturdy pump, easy to use, and didn’t get busted up in shipping. Win-win.

Naturally, since being in my age, I have a lot of grey hair. My hair is bleached, dyed, dry and very fizzy. This shampoo does wonders for it. After washing and blow drying, my hair is shinier and less frizzy than when using a sulfate and even a non-sulfate shampoo. I would recommend it.

Expensive but liked the bottle packaging and product description. Turned out good but not great for my ethnic curly-coily hair. Mild smell, very creamy, no sensitivity issues (and I have a lot). Leaves hair clean feeling but not dry just not as moisturized/conditioned as I need. Have to follow-up with another conditioner or detangler to get a smoother feel and tangle free finish. Still on the search for one that does everything (holy grail).

When my go to cleansing conditioner (Amika) was discontinued recently, I had to find another product to take its place. I didn't find Pura d'or Cleansing Conditioner to be as good as Amika's. My hair didn't feel particularly soft or fragrant after using the cowash. If anything, my hair feels hard/straw-like when rinsing. Most of the time, I condition my hair after using the co-wash (I have 1c hair type). My hair does feel just as cleansed as when I used Amika's so that's good. While this cowash isn't BAD, I think I will keep looking for another brand that will provide the same quality as Amika did.

This cleansing conditioner is amazing! I have been looking for one since I stopped using Carols Daughter (they use a lot of dimithicone and alcohol!) and this has all natural ingredients, it easily detangles my hair, the smell is fresh, and my hair sheds a lot LESS after using this. I’m African American and I haven’t had a relaxer in almost a year, this co-wash gives me all that I need to make my hair manageable.

Great smell! Prevents hair from breaking. Definitely will keep purchasing this one! You should give it a try!

I have thick hair and in the past I had no idea how to choose the right conditioner. I would use products that weren’t very healthy. Those products would weight down my hair and would be filled with Parabens and sulfates, which would create a frizz ball. Now, I pay closer attention to the products I use in my hair - I was so excited to find the Pura d’or product lines! The Cleansing Conditioner is made from organic ingredients - it has Argan oil to protect my hair from the sun/heat products and aloe vera which helps add hydration to my split ends. The Coconut Oil helps my hair stay smooth, shiny, and control the frizz. Where the Apple extract provides my scalp stay oil free, clean, and hydrated. Overall I love using this product and enjoy the benefits of the product being natural and organic.

Leave my hair very moisturized and soft. I have thick but short hair and this helps especially in the winter. Only need a little for it to work

Working well for my daughters thick and tangled hair. Smells nice and doesn’t irritate eyes during wash. Keep it on for 4-5 mins for best results, leaves hair smooth and silky

I bought this conditioner bc a friend recommended it.i was kind of skeptical to try it. But I love it now!!my hair is hard to detangle after washing it and after using Pura d’or i was pleasently surprized that was not the case anymore!It really leaves my hair soft and easy to manage.Love it!!

I have thick curly hair so I need all the moisture I can get when it comes to my hair and I like how it can be used just for my wash although its conditioner. smells good!

My hair is smooth and feels great after shower. Smells super good. I loved this product and will keep buying in future too. I also use sam brand shampoo. Hair falls less and works great for me. My skin type is dry.

I have two little girls that HATE getting their hair washed. It is always a struggle to keep them clean. Instead of fighting them and stripping their hair of natural oils I looked for an alternative. I found this cleansing conditioner. This way I can clean their hair and not have to fight with them getting soap in their eyes. It is such a great product I wish I found this earlier. I use it just like shampoo but it doesn't bother their eyes, strip their hair, or leave it greasy. I normally only put conditioner on the bottoms of my hair because I don't want it greasy but this stuff is great!

I purchased this conditioner for one of my daughters who has curly hair and she absolutely loves it. It moisturizes her hair and makes it nice and soft and doesn't weigh it down. It smells reals good, does not dry out her scalp or make it feel greasy. Her hair feels completely clean after she rinses and super soft after it dries and is also very manageable. I love how simple the ingredients list is and that it is cruelty free.

I love this for moisturizing my dry hair and detangling. I have color treated my hair for a long time and it’s always very difficult to brush it out after washing it. After washing my hair... I work this in and I leave it in for about 10 minutes. I rinse it out and then I put a little bit more in that I do not rinse out. And it makes it so much easier to brush out after the shower. It leaves my hair feeling very soft and not frizzy and extremely manageable. I will definitely continue to use.
