Purdy NEST Polypropylene 18 in. W X 26 in. L 1-1/2 gal Paint Tray

I liked much about this tray, and the 18 inches made the job go by faster BUT... I still can't figure out why there are the two slits on the sides. Paint flows into these areas and just sits there to get tacky. What purpose do they serve? Other than that, the tray is excellent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best part about this is the pour spout. Too often you waste too much paint, which is expensive enough, this made cleanup a breeze. It holds a lot of paint and is easy to move around when you’re going from wall to wall. I didn’t get the liners the first time, but made sure to pick some up as it gives me a little more comfort reusing it and not having to dump the paint somewhere.

I purchased this tray to go with all of my new Purdy products as we started our home remodel. I could go on and on about all of the products as they are all great, but the tray is one of my favorites. It is super sturdy and easy to move around and it cleans up super easy, even without the liners. I will never use a different brand again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using the Purdy NEST™ 18" Paint Tray as we repaint the inside of our house. The larger size worked great with our large roller. Tray sturdy tray left the right amount of paint on the roller, so no dripping or odd patterns in the paint. Really like the pour spot, so we had minimal waste after each room.

We hate cleaning out the tray in someone's yard. I would recommend this to anyone who paints with the super-fast 18" systems.

The paint tray has a durable thick shell, and the ridges on the inside make for an even paint application on the roller. The best part about this tray is the ability to use an 18” roller; I’m able to paint so much faster while using this size. The capacity of the paint tray is impressive and holds 1.5 gallons; the less refilling of paint, the better. This Purdy Paint tray is sturdy and the perfect addition to any painting project; I highly recommend this Purdy paint tray.

Well, yes it can!! It's very sturdy and easy to clean. When filled with a whole gallon of paint, I can easily move it without making a mess. It's a great size. We are painting the inside of our home and it has come in handy for sure. We went an a got a few more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like everything about this. Its durable, wide, it uses a different shape than the usual paint tray which is ok. It is made for larger rollers but works with smaller ones too. It's just bigger than typical trays... thus the sideways approach. The best thing is that the liners act as lids so you can snap a liner on to perverse the paint for short periods of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Purdy Review NEST 18" Paint Tray fits the 18" roller nicely. It is a thick material and holds paint nicely. Easy to clean out after so you can reuse if you like. The size allows me to cover more ground and get jobs done quicker.

I got this 18” paint tray to use with my colossus roller because how we all know time is money and tools that help us finish jobs faster are a must have. The tray is durable, no flimsy trays from China. This tray with care will last for many years. Works good, a must try and I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can you say? This paint tray is very durable, it has some grids that help you get just the right amount of paint on your brush. I had a very easy time cleaning it also. I think it will last through many painting jobs! It will hold approximately 1.5 gallons of paint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just repainted a room in my basement that has the old fashioned brown paneling, which I procrastinated for a very long time because I figured it’d be a nightmare to do. I basically got all my supplies from Lowes and feel the need to write a review to brag on this brand specifically. I got the Purdy 18 inch NEST paint tray & the Purdy pail. First & foremost, the tray was sturdy. It didn’t move around when using it and maintained its durability through the entire paint job. Actually, I’ll be able to use it again as it’s still in fantastic condition. I love that it has a pour spout on the side to easily redistribute leftover paint. It also picked up an even amount of paint almost every time I went back in. Lastly, it holds a lot! No need to keep refilling. Next, the pail came in soooo handy when I went in for detail work around the trim. It’s made very well so I wasn’t worried about accidentally bumping into it and spilling paint everywhere. I also liked that there’s different ways to grip it. I have carpal tunnel so details like that really matter. My favorite thing though was that my paintbrush could stick to it magnetically! Genius! My dog can no longer steal my paintbrushes when I’m distracted! I’ll continue to purchase from this brand. Very impressed.

It is super sturdy and does not require having the liner holder. I also liked the shape of the tray and with it being 18” wide it just felt easier getting into the tray. Was able to wash and reuse for different colors. Thumbs up!
