Purdy XL Sprig 3 in Medium Stiff Flat Trim Paint Brush

This works with all paints and stains. It brushed on smooth and left a smooth finish. Very easy to clean brush and I can now reuse it.

The top quality bristles allow for clean lines and no splatter when cutting in close. No need for taping, since the angle of the brush allows for a clean stroke. They are a bit more than your average brush but the quality makes up for the difference, especially when you factor in your time and sanity! Clean up was easy. I highly recommend!

For this reason, I have fallen in love with all the Purdy painting tools I have purchased. They are a bit on the pricier side but they get the job done and clean up beautifully. This brush helped me get my entire main floor painted—saving about 10k—and cleaned up like a champ. I have also used it to varnish furniture and it made the job much easier by leaving no streaks. Highly recommend!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this paint brush with the minwax polycrylic (excuse the spelling). We never lost bristles like we normally would with most brushes. It was easy to cleanup to use at a later date and easy to understand the cleanup instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Puffy is one of my favorite brands of painting brushes. They keep looking good after use. They are easy to wash. Made of nylon polyester bristles. I’ve used them with Polyurethane and with paint. Covers surface well. Complete coverage per stroke. They sell different sizes and angles. The XL is a 2 inch wide brush. Great for furniture. The cardboard has a QR code which I would have liked to see what it is about but it had an alarm glued over it. When I tried to remove it, it ripped some of the QR code. But there’s lots of info on their web site.

I helped my mom stain a couple stools she had at her island and we used the polycrylic as the top coat. It went on so smoothly and the stools look like she bought them that way. Was a little worried because the bottle said to sand after letting dry for 2 hours we let dry much longer to be safe - they turned out great. Such a great duo! Perfect brushes to use with this product to get a nice thin top coat that looks professional, no clumps, left no bubbles and a smooth finish! Two very high quality products in my opinion.

It is well put together the bristles do not seem to fall out easily and they're very soft and texture. I like the you can get a nice even coat without textural differences. Overall this is a really nice brush.
