Q: Can i place this pad between my chair and my body to provide heat while I recline?

To get a safe and effective benefit, and to prevent damage to the coils, it is advised to place the heating pad on top of the treatment area. I love this heating pad. It is soooo much better than the drugstore variety where the plastic part comes out of the cloth material. This is all one piece, and it’s great for the back as you can fasten the Velcro tabs together so it’s on your back (or abdomen). It’s a little heavier for travel but much more comfortable than any other heating pad I’ve had.

I have used this heating pad for over two years now. It works for my needs. I can or hope to control spasm with it. It works so well, when my original one died, I ordered a replacement before I even looked at the warranty. When it came, I realized that it had a 5 year warranty. I filed for the replacement of the one that died and with a few days, I was approved and was sent the replacement. Now I have my new one and a replacement for the one that died. I can highly recommend this one to anyone who is in need of a heating pad for those areas that hard to put other heating pads.

I must give credit or credit is due the Pure enhancement belt heating pad has proven to be an incredible addition to my wife’s pain relieving arsenal. She was involved in an accident couple years ago, and suffers from severe back pain and spine trauma, and this product helps her immensely recommended highly.

While the heating pad's controller worked, this was a good lumbar/abdominal heating pad. HOWEVER, the cord stopped functioning about 3 months after purchase. I am looking for replacement cord and cannot find.

I bought this heating pad about two months into a long recovery. Heat is a primary way I can manage my back and hip pain. Not being a big person, this size pad fits well in the small of my back and on my hips; the heat options are well described on the owners manual, and a rarely go past medium. I’m very happy with this product and would buy it again, and may need to for a loved one who will be having back surgery this winter.

My last one only lasted about 6 months before it did not heat any more. The previous one lasted about one year. I just saw the guarantee is for 5 years. I love the lumbar Pad because it helps but regret it breaks down so fast.

The lumbar heating pad has been a lifesaver for my chronic lower back pain since falling and breaking a vertebrae in early March. I love the option of being able to use the provided hot/cold pack as opposed to being plugged in at all times. This allows me to move about my daily tasks, do work around the house, take a walk all the while still receiving the warm targeted heat where I need it. I spoke so highly of it my mother-in-law purchased one for her lower back pain, as did my father and they both love theirs as much as I do.

This heating pad does not stay hot. I’ll put it on the highest heat setting and it’ll get hot initially, but then after some time, maybe 20 minutes, the heat will dull to warm, and then almost cool. It’s super inconsistent. Not only that, but the location of where the wire connects to the pad is really inconveniently placed. I bought this for my period cramps and when I strap it around my stomach, I can’t lay on my right side because I’ll be laying on a little plastic brick. It’s also impossible to strap this tightly around your body for some reason, like no matter how tightly I pull it to Velcro it closed, I can never get it tight enough to sit right on my body.

The shape and function is good, that’s why I prefer the lumbar support option with the gel pack included. One already broke but the customer support has been a good experience with quick responses and initiating the replacement process. Would recommend to others.
